This quick guide provides fertilizer application recommendations for transplanted rice in Albay for different growth stages and varieties. It recommends applying a combination of 16-20-0, 14-14-14 and urea fertilizers at specific dates after transplanting depending on the rice variety and yield target. The guide is applicable for rice fields with sufficient water supply, average soil fertility, seedlings less than 23 days old, and no additional nutrient inputs from flooding or organic materials other than rice residue. It advises using an alternative nutrient management tool called "Nutrient Manager for Rice" for fields that do not meet these conditions.
