Greetings from the High School Batch 88 of St. Paul College Quezon City (now St. Paul University Quezon City)! We hope this letter finds you in good spirits. On November 5, 2011, St. Paul University, Quezon City will be the venue for Paulinian Family Fun Day, a bingo and raffle event. This will be a University-wide affair involving the whole student body of about 3,000 students from Elementary to College and their families. As host of this event, HS Batch 88 aims to raise funds to benefit the St. Paul School of Nueva Ecija, which is currently in critical need of financial assistance. St. Paul School, Nueva Ecija is a mission school built and run by the Sisters of St. Paul. Most of the enrollees are from families who have been relocated to Nueva Ecija from Aurora Province where typhoons Winnie and Violet destroyed their homes and livelihood in 2004. The Sisters of St. Paul built this school to provide quality education for these displaced children, and to pave the way for a more permanent and rewarding future for them and their families. As a mission school, more than 80% of the students are scholars and the Sisters are mostly dependent on monetary aid to keep the school running. At present, the school is struggling to raise funds even for the basic salaries of the teachers. In this light, it is our privilege to invite, ABSOLUTE WATER, to be our partner in making the Paulinian Family Fun Day a success.
