PERI Formwork Engineering
Most cost-effective solution in terms of equipment. With the 24 clawhead the GT 24 girder can be supported at any point and transfer the maximum load of 28 kN. Fewer props, fewer components, faster shuttering.
Main and secondary girders of the same type simplify stocks and distribution. GT 24 main and secondary girders achieve a service life that represents a long-term investment. Fewer components for even faster shuttering.
Main and secondary girders of the same type simplify stocks and distribution. GT 24 primary and secondary girders achieve a service life that represents a long-term investment. Preferred application is industrial buildings with thick slabs in combination with MULTIPROPs. Fewest props and components and fastest shuttering.
PERI MULTIFLEX, the girder formwork for any layout and any height. You can use the GT 24 lattice girder or the VT 20K solid formwork girder. With PERI MULTIFLEX you always shutter cost-effectively and efficiently. s Using the universal, rigid and longlasting GT 24 lattice girder allows large spacings for main, secondary girders and supports. The GT 24 reduces the number of components to be erected and struck. s The VT 20K girder with its highgrade web board is the economical way of supporting thinner slabs.

The supports for MULTIFLEX can take the form of individual props or falsework systems.
s Using the high-capacity GT 24 considerably reduces the number of props and makes the system more cost-effective. Particularly in combination with the fast lightweight aluminium MULTIPROPs.
MULTIFLEX on ST 100 stacking towers s The ideal combination for heavy slabs or higher supports. The GT 24 is used as a twin main girder to utilise the strength of the ST 100 more efficiently.
The ST 100 forkhead spindle holds two GT 24s so they cannot tilt. PERI Formwork Engineering
MULTIFLEX can be easily adapted by changing the direction of the main girders and telescoping the secondary girders.
MULTIFLEX being used with GT 24 for a 11.60 m diameter circular tank with tapered slab.
The ST 100 stacking tower can be preassembled lying flat on the slab.
Construction of an underground car park with twin GT 24 main girders. MULTIPROPs are capable of transferring the high loads. The result is fast shuttering thanks to the small number of components.
s Long service life thanks to the patented mini-dovetail joints. The chord is ply-bonded to the entire cross section of the struts at each node to prevent it splitting.

Permissible shear force = 14.0 kN on struts QD Permissible shear force on ties QZ = 13.0 kN Permissible bending moment M = 7.0 kNm
s When using the 24 clawhead the reaction force of 28 kN can also be taken between the girder nodes.
s Long service life thanks to the riveted steel caps providing robust end protection.
The GT 24 being used as the girder in MULTIFLEX on ST 100, or in the UNIPORTAL tableform system.

PERIs VT 20K and VT 16K solid formwork girders have stood the test of time. PERI developed this type of girder with the high-grade web board right through to approval. Their fatigue strength and rigidity were put to the test in obtaining German Building Regulations Approval. Hard use on site has now confirmed the test results. PERIs solid formwork girders are designed and manufactured to achieve service lives much longer than their conventional counterparts.
The VT 20K being used as main and secondary girders. Supported by the light yet extremely strong MULTIPROP 480.
s The steel cap fixed with a steel rivet gives maximum protection against knocks and splitting at the end of the girder. It also prevents it being sawn off accidentally. s The high-density web board with high synthetic resin content makes the girder strong and rigid in use. s The 40 x 80 mm cross section of the chords of both girders prevents them tilting, and is strong enough to withstand nailing. PERI MULTIPROPs can be used individually or combined with frames to form a table or tower. s The MULTIPROP 350 enables: only 1 prop for all heights from 1.95 m. 90% of all slabs can therefore be formed with only one type of prop.
s One important factor in s The free-running nut handling is the weight. makes adjustment very easy. The MULTIPROP 350 weighs only Each MULTIPROP is continuously MP 250 18.8 kg. Even the fully extended adjustable to avoid laborious and 1.45 2.50m 480 can easily be erected by just time-consuming changing of pin one man. positions.
36 mm of adjustment achieved with just one revolution (3 times as much as conventional props). PERI Formwork Engineering

PEP props
PEP = PERI EURO PROP
The PEP props from PERI are type tested to DIN EN 1065. Loading capacity: PEP 20 props conform to Class D of DIN EN 1065. The permissible prop load is therefore 20 kN for all extension lengths. PEP 30 props conform to Class E of DIN EN 1065. The permissible prop load is therefore 30 kN for all extension lengths. Durability The 100% hot-dip galvanizing of all surfaces at the end of the manufacturing process provides long durability. Assembly of accessories The propheads are centred on the inner and outer tubes with the same end plates. This is why the new PEP props can be simply erected upside down and easily operated.
er Hamm face sur blow
The new shape of the adjusting nut has distinctive hammer blow surfaces in the lowering direction and therefore provides the correct turning direction for lowering the loads.
PEP 30-350, 1.96 m 3.50 m in length weighs only 23 kg and carries 30.0 kN fully extended. This makes the work easy and tireless. PERI Formwork Engineering

s Thanks to PERI ELPOS a minimum of planning cuts equipment costs and shuttering time dramatically. s In addition to SKYDECK panel slab formwork, ELPOS can help your planning department with flexible PERI MULTIFLEX slab formwork. s ELPOS automatically works out the main and secondary girder spacings and props needed for the depth of the slab to be shuttered and the given girder lengths. s Using ELPOS, MULTIFLEX solutions can be planned just as easily as SKYDECK. s The user employs the same commands and menus. The only additional aids are for the special features of the system.
Defaults You specify the types and lengths of girder to be taken as the defaults for the MULTIFLEX slab formwork.
Structural calculations ELPOS carries out the structural calculations on MULTIFLEX for you. The main and secondary girder spacings can also be specified by the user.

Choice of props ELPOS specifies which props can be used to cater for the clear height and the load.
Dimensioning The program displays individual prop and girder spacings and structure dimensions automatically.
Printouts The results achieved by ELPOS have to be seen to be believed. An exact formwork drawing for the site. An accurate parts list for the yard. And a table of the props to give an overview. PERI Formwork Engineering
13
The particular tables for the combination of girders chosen (see pages 26 to 33) are used to design the MULTIFLEX. The permissible main girder and prop spacings result from the slab thickness and the secondary girder selected, depending on the plywood.

The PERI forkheads with self-locking coupling are inserted into the props. Forkheads without selflocking coupling must be secured with pins.
The forkhead props are stabilised with a tripod, this can only be used as an erection aid! Horizontal loads occuring during erection can only be supported at shuttering heights of up to 3 m.

The forkhead props are set out. Then the main girders are lowered into the forkheads from slab level using the erection bar. The forkhead can hold one or two girders to prevent tilting.
5
The secondary girders are also installed with the erection bar from slab level.
Align the secondary girders under the formlining joints to ensure the sheets of plywood are supported safely. Lay formlining and nail down to help prevent the secondary girders tilting. Level formwork and spray surface of formlining with PERI Bio Clean.
PERI Formwork Engineering
The PERI clawhead makes nailing superfluous. Insert the clawhead with the self-locking coupling into the intermediate props and erect them at prop spacing c. With the 24 clawhead the GT 24 girder can be loaded with 28 kN even between the nodes of the girder. 19
The sheets of plywood are now removed and stacked exactly one on top of another, so that their edges can be cleaned.
The remaining secondary girders and the main girders are removed and stacked in pallets.
20
2a
Alternative to Figure 2 When using the PERI lowering head the formwork is simply lowered 40 mm using a hammer. Before being re-erected the lowering head must be pulled out again and wedged.
6
There is now sufficient space to tip the secondary girders over onto their sides and remove. Only the secondary girders at the joints between the sheets of plywood remain in place.
Before the first use, and for each subsequent time, spray the edges of the formlining with PERI BIO Clean. This makes erection and striking easier and protects the plywood. 21
s Early striking with temporary support Temporary props must be positioned to enable early striking. This releases the formwork for faster re-use. Early striking: First the temporary props must be positioned in the middle of the span (and other places if necessary) to satisfy the structural requirements. The actual striking operation is then carried out in the normal way. This means only a few additional props and sheets of formlining are needed. s PERI handrail holder acting as a safety system: An adjustment range of 40 cm allows the universal handrail holder to be clamped to slab formwork in exactly the same way as to members that have already been concreted. It is therefore a quick and reliable way of complying with DIN safety requirements; all that remains is to fit handrail boards and its complete. s PERI FIXPOS to support prefabricated slabs Partially prefabricated slabs are supported with PERI FIXPOS. Only main girders with props and accessories are necessary. The spacing of the main girders (support for the slabs) are mostly specified.
The PERI FIXPOS system for supporting the prefabricated slabs. Struck slab with temporary support.
The PERI safety handrail holder is simply screwed tight. The positioning lugs on the GT 24 for easily positioning the props.

Beams
The positive connection with the UZ beam width adjustment bar allows wide spacing.
The UZ beam formwork with beam width adjustment bar for beams up to 800 mm deep. The UZ beam formwork and AW stopend angle systems allow fast and cost-effective shuttering. s UZ formwork is continuously adjustable to suit the beam cross section. s No formwork ties needed for beams up to 800 mm deep. s Girders or timbers can be used as soffit formwork. s The UZ width adjustment bars can be connected together for wide beams: Maximum beam width with one UZ 80 bar = 450 mm two UZ 80 bars = 1350 mm one UZ 129 bar = 950 mm Assuming 100 mm thick formwork.

PERIs site equipment makes erecting stopends a whole lot easier. Slabs or small overhangs are shuttered with standard system components. PERI offers two systems for slab stopends: The slab stopend bar 105 for vertical slab formwork. s For slab depths up to 500 mm s Spindles with 140 mm adjustment for exact alignment of formwork with existing concrete or formwork. The formwork bracket-2 for slab projections and slab stopends s Free-running nut to adjust for the overhang or formwork thickness. s The tapered wall supports transfer shear forces, and allow the formwork to be lowered for striking. s Slab stopends can be formed using the formwork bracket.

24
The PERI AW stopend angle can be used time and again. With the AW stopend angle PERI has made it possible to erect formwork even more efficiently. Conventional slab and beam formwork solutions are a thing of the past. s The AW stopend angle is used for forming stopends and beams. s Nail-holes allow fixing in any direction, on the girder in the longitudinal direction, or on the formlining transverse to the girder.
