Dear customers,
The bauma in Munich is one of the most spectacular tradeshows worldwide. There is no other show in the world where you can find so much impressive construction equipment, together in one spot. The fact that the exhibition site is expanded prior to the show and is still not large enough to accommodate all prospective exhibitors is a testament to the interest that the show generates. The counterpart to the bauma for the industrial sector is the Hannover Messe. Each year, this event attracts countless international visitors to the former Expo site and fascinates them with innovations galore. These two events are some of the highlights of the upcoming tradeshow year for HBC-radiomatic, which is why we would like to present to you a wide range of our latest innovations that will make your work easier, safer, and more efficient. The live video trans mission with video camera is a good example for this. It serves as a third eye for the operator in working areas with a limited view and allows for safe and precise operation, even under the most difficult of circumstances. This innovation is available for our new high-performing radio controls technos 2 and spectrum E, both of which will be on display in Hannover and Munich. In addition, you can try additional innovations directly at our booth and talk to our tradeshow team in person. We are looking forward to your visit! Kind regards

HBC innovation enables safe and precise operations in areas with limited view Day / night switching ensures optimum visibility in low light conditions Simultaneous use of up to 8 cameras
Positioning a gripper arm precisely over the load, driving a logistic vehicle through areas with limited view, or applying a drill bit precisely at the desired position: all of this and much more can now be easily implemented with the new HBC live video transmission with video camera! Non-reflecting color TFT display in high-resolution This exciting innovation works with up to 8 video cameras simultaneously. They can be installed in optimum positions on the machine and around the working environment for the transmission of high resolution images directly to the transmitters 3.5 TFT display. The video feedback is realized over a separate radio link and offers a range of up to 150 meters. The operator can select the desired camera easily with a switch. The images are shown on the non-reflecting TFT display with a great resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The operator always has a perfect view of the application and working area and can operate precisely and safely, even in demanding situations. Automatic switching to infrared operation A clever feature is the integrated day / night switching. As soon as the ambient light falls below a pre-determined value, the cameras automatically activate several infrared LEDs. This means that the operator can also work when it is dark! Easy switching to data feedback In order to take perfect advantage of the versatile possibilities of the 3.5" display, function selection is integrated into the new technology: if the live camera view is no longer needed, the operator can switch back to the standard display (available for technos 2, in preparation for spectrum D / E). Depen ding on the desired configu ration, operators have access to diverse machine data, such as motor temperature, load weight, pump rotations and much more. This ensures optimum safety and efficiency! The new live video transmission function is optionally available for the HBC radio transmitters technos 2, spectrum D and spectrum E.

The easy way to organize the utilization of your cranes and machines!
Access levels defined for each individual user Protection against unauthorized use
With the new user identification function, HBC-radiomatic offers an easy and efficient possibility for the organization of access rights to your machines. This innovation uses a convenient, credit-card-sized login card (HBC Smart Card). It is used to activate the control and thus protects the application from unauthorized use. Additionally, each card can be assigned to individuals or teams. Various user groups possible By means of the Smart Card, it is very easy to define the access to specific machines for each operator, including the functions to which they have access on the machine. This makes the user identification an ideal tool to block safety-relevant functions for un authorized operators and unlock them for authorized personnel. You can define different user groups and give them the same access rights, or uniquely configure them for each user. In addition, different machine groups can be created and assigned to the respective operators. Convenient order sheet A convenient order sheet with an easy structure can be used to define all aspects of the user identification; it is used as the basis for the configuration of all ordered HBC Smart Cards. The user identification thus offers perfect opportunities to organize your internal processes in an easy and efficient manner. With equipment now protected from unauthorized use, an increase in safety within a company is now possible. The user identification is optionally available for numerous HBC radio controls.
NEWS IN BRIEF
HBC data logger: valuable usage data at your disposal!
The new HBC data logger reliably stores various usage data of your machine, such as the overall usage time of the drive commands. It can be used on its own, or be ordered in combination with the HBC user identification. This combination allows data to be collected for each individual user: thus you can very easily determine how long your machine has been used by which operators and which functions they have activated. In addition, it is possible to calculate the loads carried by each crane. The collected data can be useful in different situations, for example, service work. The evaluation of the data is done easily with a Bluetooth interface; the data can then be viewed with the custom developed software. The HBC data logger is available for all HBC radio systems with CAN interface.

Safe-distance firefighting!
Versatile track vehicle with HBC radio control makes firefighting easier and protects rescue forces.
Fighting fires in difficult situations or in unaccessible areas poses extremely high risks to rescue forces. The newly developed special vehicle First Attack made by the company ITM from Ebersberg (Germany) specifically tackles this challenge: the innovation is based on a maneuverable track vehicle that can even climb stairs, thanks to its all-terrain capabilities. Depending on the field of application, the vehicle can be combined with many different components. The possibilities range from fire monitors to high-pressure air modules with water mist technology, Torsten Mller, manager of ITM, explains. Thanks to the powerful and comprehensive hydraulics, rescue equipment and extra hydraulic pumps can be connected in a few easy steps. These possibilities make First Attack not only suitable for standard firefighting operations, but also for maneuvering and hauling purposes. Decisive safety improvements A special feature of First Attack is its operating concept. The entire vehicle and all components can be controlled by radio from a safe distance, Alexander Hemming, head of the HBC Product Management elaborates. It can penetrate areas or zones with limited access and extreme temperatures and immediately start with the fire fighting operation; all of this without any danger to rescue forces. The system thus offers decisive safety improvements! Close collaboration between the project partners The development of the radio control was made in close collaboration between the HBC Product Management and ITM. In order to accommodate the necessary operating elements, the choice was made for a version of the radio system FST 511 spectrum 2, says Alexander Hemming. This proven product scores with its firstclass performance, its enormous robustness and its almost unlimited individual design possibilities. Optimum visibility, even in darkness In the ITM version, the system is equipped with two high-quality HBC joysticks for the comfortable and precise control of driving commands, several toggle switches and two rotary switches for the control and pre-selection of vehicle components. Especially for operations in darkness or in areas with limited lighting conditions, the operator can switch on the front panel lighting. Additional operating comfort and safety are provided by five feedback LEDs on the control panel. They inform the operator about important machine conditions and errors, such as oil pressure, and indicate the battery status of the radio system, Alexander Hemming explains. This means that the operator can react in time if there should be an error. Perfect implementation of requirements The wireless HBC radio control is already in use on First Attack systems and has proven its reliability. ITM manager Torsten Mller is extremely happy with the results: The collaboration with HBC-radiomatic has worked out great. The project managers have perfectly implemented our demanding requirements!
