Ces Team Leader of Advertising Department RE Date : : Progress Report Regarding the Advertisement Plan for the Great Lakes Resort October 4, 2012
Great Lakes Resort is the best resort in Plaridel, but it is not advertised well, resulting in very few tourists. To solve this problem, we are compiling a long report describing the resorts attractions, amenities, and what makes Great Lakes Resort unique from all the other resort there is. The information from the report will be used to construct brochures and advertising pamphlets. We have begun last September 24, 2012 compiling information from our individual research in order to create this report. I. Work Previously Done ( September 24 to 30, 2012) For the last week of September our team is researching for the development of this report. The following are the things previously done. a. Initial Proposal Our initial proposal was submitted on September 24, 2012. The proposal was written by Cecile Baltazar, Sunshine De Guzman, Michael Angeles and I. It detailed our plan to create a report on Great Lakes Resort in order to better advertise the location. We decided to do research and report on the many aspects of the Boracay-like Island. These aspects include the geography, history, and different attractions that the resort has to offer. b. Distribution of the Individual Duties Since the initial proposal, the entire group has met on September 24, 2012 at Great Lakes Convention Room. We discussed the different categories of research involved in the project, as well as who was responsible for each. We have met twice on September 25, 2012 and September 27, 2012 at Shizuki Restaurant to compose this progress report, as well as gather the research that the group has presently compiled.
c. Composition of the Report The report provides information on the different attractions scattered around the Resort. Such attractions include mini museum, water park, theme park, aquariums, golf course, spas, and ponds for fishing. It will also give information regarding different events available to the tourists. These events include live bands and free swimming lessons. It will also present information regarding room-types, prices, room service, and other amenities. II. a. Work Done ( October 1 to 13, 2012) As of the first week of October, here are the things remain to be done. Communication Each member of the team is conducting his/her research individually. We communicate via email and telephone. Certain people are communicating and working mutually to ensure that the information is consistent and flows well. Cecile Baltazar and Michael Angeles are paying close attention to each others work due to the fact that landscape and attractions influence the unique cuisine.
b. Oral Report Our team has begun preparing for our oral report to the Board of Directors who will approve our proposal. III. Work to be Done ( October 14 to 24, 2012) As of the second week of October we will be working on the following task. a. Submission of the Progress Report We will be submitting this progress report on Wednesday, October 14, 2012. Furthermore, our team plans on finishing our individual research and meeting on October 20, 2012 in order to compile our long report and practice for our oral report. b. Editing of the Report We will edit the long report together to ensure there are no grammatical or mechanical errors. Our early meeting will provide us with extra time to correct any problems before the due date. c. Final Report Our final long report will be fully completed and submitted to Mr. Carlos G. Guarin on October 24, 2012. Our oral report will be presented on this date as well.
