How To Create A Facebook Page For Your Class or Project
If youre interested in creating your own Facebook Page (thats with a capital P) thats not your personal account, for a specific class or project, just follow these steps: 1. Go to Facebooks Home Page and look for the link Create a Page for a celebrity, band or business.
2. You will then see Facebooks Create a Page screen. There are 6 main categories for creating a page: Local Business, Company/Organization/Institution, Brand/Product, Artist/Band/Public Figure, Entertainment, and Cause/Community. While some university professors have created class Pages using the Company/Organization/Institution category, many use the Cause/Community option. When you click on the Cause/Community option, you will be given a text box to enter the name of your Page. You will also need to click the checkbox to acknowledge that you agree to the Terms and Conditions for creating a Facebook Page. Once youve done both of these steps, click the Get Started button.
