Sent by: First Bible Baptist Church 990 Manitou Rd Hilton, NY 14468 April 2013 Greetings from Guatemala, Once again we write to you how thankful we are for your prayers and support. The verse from Psalm 130:5 comes to mind writing this I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. We still dont have the answer to what will become of the property where the church, music ministry, National Pastors home, print shop, and our home are located but we are seeking God and waiting for His will to be made known... In the meantime we are taking advantage of all the opportunities we have to continue in the ministry here. We recently had a concert in the garden here with many visitors. We thank God for the Outreach Holy Week concert and all that was done. It is my prayer that our musicians will grow spiritually through their participation in these events. Into the late evening after the concert, the young people were still in a group praising the Lord for what He has done and encouraging one another with ideas on what more they can do. These young people have such a heart to share the message of salvation with others, and to worship and glorify God with the whole heart, what a privilege it is to serve them in this ministry and to God be the glory. Also this month our musicians ministered at a missions conference. Dons message in this conference was particularly impacting with what more would God have us to do by faith concerning missions. We also take advantage of opportunities to minister with music at weddings. Last Saturday we were at a wedding in Sumpango. Another church asked permission to send some of their young people for music lessons. We heard there were eight or nine but twelve came and several more the following week. They have a great group of young people along with some dads that will be ministering in their church and encouraging others. We know several of the group already minister through visitation and preaching but are in the group to encourage the others. A special blessing happened in our women's prayer group and Bible Study recently. One of our faithful ladies (Ruth) has asked us to pray for the salvation of her daughter Gloria for at least the past 3 years. We got a call saying that Ruth has had a stroke. When we went to visit Ruth, her daughter was there, as we talked to Gloria she responded whole heartedly to receive Jesus as her Saviour. Also, a huge blessing is that Ruth has recovered her speech and ability to walk. We are so thankful to God for hearing our prayers. We also hosted a Youth Friendship Day and had opportunities to encourage the young people with ideas as they seek to be used by God to reach others. Some of the students are also in Dons Institute class. Please continue to pray for us as we continue in this mission seeking God for help and guidance and to God be the glory.
