The document provides checklists for normal operations as well as emergency and abnormal situations for the Nanchang CJ-6A aircraft. It includes preflight, engine start/shutdown, taxi, takeoff and landing checklists. Additionally, it outlines procedures for issues like low main air pressure, gear malfunctions and more.

The document includes normal checklists to be used as a checklist as well as emergency and abnormal checklists to be used as do-lists, with exceptions for boldfaced critical items. The tables of contents provide an overview of the included checklists.

If the main air pressure is low or decreasing, the pilot should continue monitoring pressure while fuel permits and consider extending the gear to verify gauges or troubleshoot leaks. If pressure remains low, the emergency air system should be activated.

Pilots Checklist
Version 1.0 August 2003

Introduction:
This Checklist is intended to promote safety and standardization within the RedStar
Pilots Association membership. The checklists contained here in are only one
suggested method. The pilot alone is responsible for determining the accuracy and
applicability of this checklist for use in his/her aircraft, as many aircraft are different. The
Red Star Pilots Association assumes no responsibility for the content, accuracy, or use
of this checklist.
Normal Checklists: The Normal Checklists are to be used as a check-list.
Emergency and Abnormal Checklists: The Emergency Checklists contain time critical
action items, whereas the Abnormal Checklists cover less critical malfunctions. The
Emergency and Abnormal Checklists are used as do-lists, with the exception of items
printed in bold. Boldface items are time-critical items that should be committed to, and
performed from memory. Thereafter, use the appropriate checklist to verify all boldface
items are complete. Any other checklist steps are performed by referring to the
appropriate Emergency or Abnormal Checklist.
