Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry can be a wonderful outreach of Christs love both to our church family and to the community. In the second chapter of his epistle, James tells us, Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. He says we need to be doers of the Word, not just hearers. Just talking about loving and caring for one another doesnt automatically make us a loving and caring congregation. We need to be doers! Stephen Ministry is a way to be doers of the Gospel. When we meet a persons needs during a difficult time of life, they experience Jesus love and presence with them. For more information about Stephen Ministry, contact Peggy Strack, 4213280, ext. 23. Music Ministry No bell or choir rehearsals on Tuesday, May 21 st or Thursday, May 23rd. Today the Youth Bells are sharing their final music ministry of the season at UM Churches of Cherry Valley and Poplar Valley. Thank you for prayer support of their travel and witness, and thanks to guest organist Jon Strack at 11:00 a.m., as the Foxes travel with the young ringers.
