Caution : Both of SPC-6000 and SCC-3100A cannot be used as Master, Slave in one system. 2 keyboards are not compatible, if SVR and SRD series are used in one system, the system keyboard should be separately used as recommended below below. - SVR Series : SCC-3100A - SRD Series : SPC-6000

a. hardware connection

First, lets take a look at the system with coax camera installed. In order to control the specific ifi camera of f the h specific ifi S SRD connected, d what h you only l need d to d do i is to connect S SRD. If succeed, keyboard will send packets to control SRD and SRD will control PTZ cameras. For example, if you would like to control Camera which is connected to channel 1 of SRD, Connect SRD first by pushing [DVR] + [1] + [Enter] and choose channel 1. Also, if you would like to control Camera connected to channel 2 of SRD 2, Connect SRD by pushing [DVR] + [2] + [Enter] + [2] + [CAM] in sequence.

In case of system using RS-485 data cable, TX port on rear side of SRD will connect both of keyboard data +/- and camera data +/-. It looks like the SRD uses Serial control (Keyboard controls SRD, and SRD controls Camera that I call it Serial control) but SRD will just bypass the data from the keyboard and pass it to the camera directly.(I call it Parallel control) In short, SRD with ith coax PTZ : S Serial i l control t lf from th the k keyboard b d SRD with RS-485 PTZ : Parallel control from the keyboard (SRD bypass data & Keyboard controls PTZ directly)

Therefore, Please assign ID of PTZs & SRDs with all different numbers to prevent communication error of the data between the keyboard and devices. Also please dont forget to set termination as ON for far position of camera from the DVR. b. menu set
