Main Takeaways
The Verbal Score has a long tail. The highest quant score, 51, is only the 98th percentile. On the
other hand, the 99th percentile for verbal starts at a 46. This means verbal raw scores of 46, 47, 48,
49, 50, and 51 are all 99th percentile. This brings me to my next point:
The Importance of the Verbal Score: While both the Quant and Verbal Scores are important, the
verbal score is especially important. Somebody amazing in Verbal and okay in Quant will have an
overall higher score than someone amazing in Quant and okay in verbal. Someone with Q44
(68%), V48(99%) will score a 740 (97th percentile overall) versus someone with a Q51 (98%),
V34(68%) will score a 710 (92nd percentile). The long tail in verbal means someone really strong in

I took the gmat and got a score of 210 my gpa is 3.5 The schools Gmat average is 610. Should I
process my application or retake it.

I got 210 at the end of the exam is that the final? I thought I went well my gpa is 3.8 I studied for
almost 8 weeks dont know what went wrong I feel stupid
