    In 1994, Atrium introduced the first new wall architecture to the vascular graft industry in almost 20 years. This unique structure created the strongest, best handling, most complete healing onepiece PTFE graft design available. Now, Atrium has created another first with a new, highly porous PTFE film. Advanta VXT combines the proven 60/20-wall architecture with Atriums innovative Soft-Wrap technology. The result: a softer, easier to handle graft with the strongest suture retention available. In essence, Advanta VXT is one of the most durable PTFE grafts ever constructed.

    Advanta VXT PTFE grafts are now available with the Slider GDS (Graft Deployment System). Atriums innovative Slider GDS is the first pre-packaged graft tunneling system available. Its graft protection sleeve and easy to use attachment system provides faster insertion of a graft into a tunnel, in a no skin contact fashion.

    Advanta VXT's structure has been engineered to meet your toughest clinical demands and the challenges posed by todays PVD and hemodialysis patients.

    Advanta VXT has the highest radial burst strength of any PTFE graft. Radial burst testing measures how much force it takes to make a graft wall balloon out. The higher the radial burst pressure, the higher the force necessary to aneurysize the graft, even after several needle cannulations. Advanta VXT is 40% stronger than most reinforced products. Atrium's new Soft-Wrap technology delivers the softer feel that you demand with the greatest quality and durability your patients deserve.

    Advanta VXT with its innovative Soft-Wrap is the first commercially available highly porous reinforced PTFE graft available. Increased porosity allows better tissue incorporation and more complete penetration of fibroblasts. The increased porosity (averaging 60m) is designed to allow cells to freely penetrate and create a more natural biological response.
