Two photo sessions are being offered and Volunteers will be on hand to assist with makeup and hair styles. Join us for a spectacular day of thrilling rides and shows at Six Flags. Attend a special day at the Art foundry in St. Charles where you can draw with artists and paint with professional painters. Come watch the Cardinals play ball against the Chicago Cubs with friends at a sports restaurant. Get moving and join us for Hula dancing or playing fly swatter badminton. Celebrate the June Birthdays at our Hawaiian Luau. Dont miss the Summer Dance being hosted by the Volunteer Club and remember that the entrance fee is a can of food for the Volunteer Clubs food drive. With the arrival of Summer it is time to sign up for the shows at the MUNY. Remember tickets are limited to one sign up per month and to list your 1st and 2nd choice for the shows. We have been awarded 8 regular seats and two wheelchair accessible seats per show. Come have fun this Summer with SAS!

6/3 Picture Day Put on your favorite outfit and your best smile, professional photographer Martha Dahl is sharing her time and talent with us to offer you a professional portrait. This is the first of two sessions; it is only necessary to attend one session . Volunteers will be on hand to assist with makeup and hair styles. You will have the chance to order one 8x10 for $2.00 or a package of one 8x10, three 4x6, and eight wallets for $4.25. Bring your photos or other momentoes and use the tools provided to create scrapbook pages. A paper craft will also be available for non-scrapbookers and LARRY will play records for us to enjoy too. 6/6 Sensory- A sensory experience can be relaxing, fun and meaningful; especially for people with severe disabilities. 6/7 Movie The Hobbit: An unexpected Journey; Watch Bilbo Baggins adventures in this newest movie addition to The Tolkien series. 6/8 Picture Day This is the second session of picture taking. See above description for details.

Stages - Musical Always...Patsy Cline. We leave promptly at 2:30 from the flag pole or meet in Kirkwood at 3:30. Expect to be back 6ish. Cost is 16.00 per person and nonrefundable!

6/11 Six Flags-Let's go and have some fun at the big park. You don't have to ride every ride. There are several shows that you can attend as well. Lunch will be in the park so bring plenty of money $15-$20. We expect to leave by 9:30 am and return between 3pm and 4pm. 6/11 Fitness Fun Get moving with a silly game of fly swatter badminton 6/13 Second ThursdaysAttend this special event at the Art Foundry in St. Charles. Draw with Artists, Paint with Painters and enjoy food from food trucks at a nominal charge. Please bring money if you plan to purchase food from the food trucks. 6//14 Movie The Guilt Trip ; Barbara Streisand stars in this comedy about a mother accompanying her son on his road trip of a lifetime.
6/15 Always...Patsy Cline This play being performed at Stages is the touching and true story of Country Music Legend Patsy Cline and includes 27 of Patsys hits. Stages is located in Kirkwood Mo. Ask Shelley for directions. Tickets are $16.00 and nonrefundable.

6/20 Thursdays with the Cardinals-Let's watch some baseball! Tonight's game is with the Chicago Cubs. We will meet at 6:30 at a place to be determined and the game starts at 7:15. Bring your Visa One or cash to purchase food. Go Cards! 6/21 Movie Rise of the Guardians; a animated comedy about the epic battle fought to save childrens imagination and innocence.
6/21 Cooking Join us as we prepare a special Hawaiian dish. 6/22 Movie Out We are attending the show on Saturday sometime before noon, to be eligible to purchase a special $6.00 ticket. You will be contacted several days in advance with information on what show has been selected and what time to meet at the Wehrenberg 18 on Pralle Lane. Bring your own funds for refreshments. 6/25 Craft Make and take a patriotic craft, just in time for the fourth of July Holiday. 6/27 Hula dancing-Exercise is fun! Hula dancing is our Fitness spotlight this month.
6/28 Movie-Impossible; a story of a familys struggle in a disaster among strangers and the kindness they encounter. .Remember
6/28 Summer Dance This dance is being hosted by the volunteer club. Bring a canned good as cost of admission to a fun summertime DANCE! Volunteer Club will be our hosts and will deliver the food items to a local food pantry.
