    The Numerical Cable Differential Protection Relays For 22 and 11 KV Technical Specifications

    Technical Specifications: 1- Numerical fiber optical diff. Protection matched in length and specification of the ordered fiber optical cable (attached). 2- Low C.T. burden . 3- Provide selectivity and high speed operation (less than 40 ms). 4- Independent measuring elements and simultaneous tripping of relays at each line end. 5- Suitable means for securing the relay settings. 6- Necessary amount of programmable LEDs for each phase fault, trip, and back up protection as well as the monitoring. 7- Inrush and steady state charging current compensation. 8- Built in back up over current protection. 9- Built in fault recording with time 1.5 sec at least in one page. 10- The relay shall compensate for unequal primary current transformation ratio to ensure correct operation of diff. Protection. 11- Upon detection of fiber optic failure , an alarm should be given and the diff. Protection shall be switched automatically out of service. 12- The amount of differential and restraining current shall possibly be displayed and measured during loading. 13- Facility of reversing polarity of measurement without disturbing the current circuit wiring. 14- Shall be stable during harmonics and C.T. saturation.

    15- An over current check feature shall be included. 16- Since this protection operates as a unit protection , the bidder shall responsible to supply the same relay and all required accessories at the remote end of the cable. 17- Original software , plug connection to PC, test plug, test switch and otter accessories to be handed over. 18- Reference list for the offered protection inside and outside A.R.E. to be handed over with the offer. 19- All accessories for connection with fiber optical cables such as terminal connectors etc. Shall be provided.
