Setting Descriptions
The Preferences window is the main area where you can personalize Pocket Informant to your tastes. Pocket Informant comes with a few hundred settings - but dont let that scare you! If you consider that there are nine views, tens of editors, and quite a few actions this breaks down to a few settings per area. Consider that 2/3rds of the settings are also color settings and its really not that much. To make it easier to nd the setting you are looking for, the Preferences window is broken up into three sections; Simple, Fonts/Colors, and Full. The Simple settings are the basic settings that most users need to change such as the Month View Start Date, work hours, and so on. The Fonts and Colors holds all the colors and fonts per view. The Full list holds all settings pertaining to Pocket Informant in every view. This is where all basic and esoteric settings are held. Now we could spend 15 pages describing each settings but most are pretty self explanatory. So well describe some of the less obvious ones in the next section.
