Grammar Review
When explaining that we like or love something, its acceptable to use the definite article. Ex: Jaime le poulet. This means in general, I like chicken. However, when ordering food, we need to express that we are ordering some. (Often, in English, we omit this but its understood that we are ordering only some of the entire available amount.) Heres a chart to help you. Masculine Feminine Vowel Beginning Plural Ex: Je prends du poulet. Je commande de la glace. Pretend you are ordering the following food/drink items in a restaurant. Fill in the correct partitive article for each term. 1. __________ vin rouge 2. __________eau 3. __________salade verte 4. __________glace au chocolat 5. __________riz du de la de l des
