REFLECTION
Aizatul Shairah Binti Mat Nasir 5 Mted2
It was so relieved when finally I did succeed in finishing this assignment. I have been working hard all day long thinking about all the tasks given to us. So far, I thought that this assignment is one of the most hardest tasks I have ever done. Indeed, it was such a hard experience for me to analyze the graphic organizers especially. Moreover, I am quite worried thinking about my overall answers because I did not know whether they were right or wrong. I just did it with my own thought, searching information from internet, relevant books and by exchanging opinion with my friends. Designing graphic organizers were the hardest part. Truly speaking, the informations and articles relating semantics field was not enough by finding them in the internet. I could not find much the most relevant articles related to semantics. Luckily, I managed to borrow B.e.d Teyl student notes. But at the same time, it was not as easy as ABC to pick out the main points needed. Sometimes, I got headache when it comes to part where I had to select the most relevant points because the explanation given was quite confusing. To my pleasure, i am very thankful that my friend did borrowing Linguistics reference book which helped me a lot in designing proper graphic organizer. Not only that, I found that task two was also quite challenging. Analyzing comic strips was not something that I am good at. I had to read the story for so many times in order to get what does it really means. Initially, I misunderstood the meaning behind the story because it was quite confusing. Later, after having a few discussions with my group members, I realized that it was not so hard as i thought before. Then, I tried my best to analyze the comic strips eventhough I did not sure whether they were right or wrong as we did not get explanation regarding this task much earlier. No matter what, I had to struggle myself and tried to accomplish this task as fast as I can. There were no excuses for me to escape from doing this challenging tasks. Now, come the last part which was quite easy and interesting whereby we had to create a narrative story based on the speech bubbles. I noticed that certain words were

higher vocabulary whereby I had to refer to dictionary. At last, we did came up with an interesting story of Mr Hagar The Horrible. We managed to produce our own story using our own creativity. Here, I would like to thank to all of my group members because they had given much cooperation while finishing this tasks. Not to forget, I would like to express gratitude to my lecturer, Madam Lee Sui Sum for supporting, helping and contributing energy and time for assisting us to complete the tasks. Last but not least, I hope that our assignment will be accepted as we had already tried the best as we can.
