Projects On Imperialism and Rubric
Mohr March 18, 2013 Each student must turn a project under their own names. Students can work together on two projects. One project turned in by more than one student will have points taken off. Project: Your project must be original. All projects will be checked against all available information from books, the internet, pictures, paintings, music. All of the projects involve compare and contrast. You must thoroughly explain and demonstrate your knowledge of each of the items being compared and contrasted. Then you must clearly present where the two items (Countries, poems, rebellions, control over parts of a country) are alike and where the two items are different. You are also required to demonstrate your understanding of why they would be alike in the ways that you mention and why they would be different in the ways that you mentioned. You can demonstrate your knowledge of everything mentioned above through any of the following mediums: Writing: Essay, poem, recipe, posterboard Music: Any type of music is acceptable but it must include words that convey the information. A song without words cannot be expected to reliably convey any information Art: Any type of art is acceptable, but your art must clearly convey the information listed above.
