Battery Charging
The product package does not include a USB charger. We recommend that you use a 5V/1A USB charger to charge the battery. When the LCD display 'No Battery', you should charge the iUSBport . After displaying 'No Battery' for 3 minutes, iUSBport will turn off automatically. The charging indicator will light up orange during charging. When the battery is fully charged, the charging indicator will turn green. (~7hrs to full charge from empty) iUSBport

Connecting To DSLR
Make sure that everything is turned off. Connect DSLR to iUSBport with provided USB cable. Turn on iUSBport
Turn on DSLR
Wait for iUSBport CAMERA until your DSLR was detected. The LCD will display following message:

Wait for Wi-Fi symbol to appear to indicate successful connection with Wi-Fi network.
Select your iUSBport CAMERA and open 'Camera Control'. The 'Camera Control' panel will launch. Camera Info Histogram EXIF Main View

Touch icon to remote release shutter.
According to camera's setting, it may perform AF drive before releasing shutter. If it fail to complete AF, shutter will not be released. In this case, please adjust your camera or lens. The camera will always store pictures in the memory card. So if there is no memory card in the camera, the shutter will not be released. The captured image will be transferred to mobile device automatically. During the transfer, a progress bar will display and the shutter button is disabled.
The transfer progress is also displayed on the iUSBport CAMERA's LCD. Picture Size File Name

If you trigger the shutter during AF driving, camera will stop AF driving and capture image immediately. Therefore, you will get an unfocused image. For most cameras by default, the exposure metering point is not the same as the AF point. Please refer to your camera user manual for more information. Tap icon again to exit from 'Live View' mode.

Please pay attention to the video recording operation. Even if the mobile device (e.g. iPad) goes to sleep, the camera is still recording. Tap icon again to stop video recording.
Client Mode
Tap icon to enter Client mode. In Client mode, remote camera controls from the mobile device (e.g. iPad) are disabled. You can operate your camera and take pictures freely. All captured pictures will be transferred to the mobile device in the background.

Multiple Clients
The controller of iUSBport CAMERA is able to share captured images with another user by tapping icon.
Once the 2nd user launches up 'iUSBport' App and connects to the same iUSBport CAMERA, the app will enter client mode automatically.

The 2nd User / Client Only one additional client can be connect to a master controller / sharer.
Lightroom / PhotoShop
Once iUSBport CAMERA displays 'Self Control?', press power button.
Some photography software (e.g. Lightroom) can monitor a network folder (e.g. stored on iUSBport CAMERA) for new images to import automatically. Please refer to your software manual or visit our website for assistance.

If storage device is recognized, it's capacity will be displayed at the top of LCD.

Wireless Router
Tip
The default network mode of iUSBport CAMERA is 'Access Point' mode. In order to switch to 'Infrastructure' mode, first turn on your wireless router. When the wireless router is working properly, turn on iUSBport CAMERA. If iUSBport CAMERA is powered on before the wireless router is turned on, iUSBport CAMERA will not be able to find the wireless router.
Turn on 'Join known networks'. Select the existing wireless network you want to join.
Enter the network password, then click 'Done' to save the password. There will be no indication if the network password is correct or not until iUSBport restarts. If the network password is correct, iUSBport LCD screen will display the wireless router SSID and IP address that is assigned by the wireless router to iUSBport.
