Brief Lesson Plan in Art

Brief Lesson Plan in Art Grade One I.

Objective: Draw different kinds of fruits, leaves and flowers showing the variety of shapes, lines, and colors. II. Subject Matter: Drawing different kinds of fruits, leaves and flowers showing the variety of shapes, lines, and colors. Reference: K to 12 Curriculum Guide Materials: real fruits, flowers, leaves and cut-out shape of fruits, leaves and flowers charts Manila paper

Values: Caring for plants Cooperation III. Procedure A. Drill The pupils will trace the figure of flowers and leaves. B. Motivation Let the pupils sing a song entitled, Watermelon C. Presentation The teacher will show to the pupils the real fruits, flowers and leaves. D. Activity The teacher will group the pupils into three. Group 1 Draw and color flowers on a manila paper Group 2 Draw and color fruits on a manila paper Group 3 Draw and color fruits on a manila paper Every group will present their work. E. Analysis Ask the pupils the following question: a. What are name of the fruits that you have drawn?

b. What are the lines that can be found in your drawing? b. What are the color of the fruits and flowers that you have drawn? c. What are the shapes of the fruits and color that you have drawn? d. How do you feel after drawing fruits, leaves and flowers? F. Abstraction Ask: What are the shapes, lines, colors that are found in fruits, leaves and flowers? G. Application The teacher will ask the pupils how to show concern/love for fruits, trees, leaves and flowers. IV. Post Assessment Let every pupil draw and color fruit, leaves, and flowers on a sheet of paper. V. Assignment Let the pupil look for the pictures of fruits, flowers or leaves and paste it on a bond paper.
