www.rail.ch Switzerland is superbly connected by train, bus and boat. No other country in the world has such a dense public transport network. Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) and the other transport providers are constantly improving connections to the holiday regions. Trains run at regular intervals: they always depart and arrive at the same minute past the hour/half hour.

Send your bags ahead the easy way When you check in for your flight to Switzerland, you can send your luggage directly to the railway station at your ski resort. This highly practical scheme is called Fly Rail Baggage, and works for all airlines from every international airport in the world to all larger railway stations. For your homeward flight you can even check your luggage in at the resorts station and collect your boarding card (with your chosen seat number): your bags then travel by train directly to the aircraft. You can get the necessary documents for Fly Rail Baggage and checking-in from your local Swiss Travel System sales point or from larger Swiss stations. www.rail.ch/baggage Luggage transport in Switzerland When travelling within Switzerland, ask for the Fast Baggage service if you require your luggage the same day at your destination.
