INTRODUCTION
Scope of the document is to provide technical specification for ODU ASN 23 GHz for PDH/SDH/ETH application. ASN ODU will be part of ALS product family and it will be interoperable with SDH series (ALS), Plus series (ALplus and ALCplus ) Plus 2 series IDU (AL plus 2 and ALC plus 2) capable to transmit radio frame in 56MHz and 256QAM modulation scheme.
ODU ASN 23 GHz belongs to ASN ODU family providing following characteristics; ASN ODU, that supports capacities up to 400 Mbps, with 4/16/32/64/128/256 QAM modulation schemes

The Cable interface is associated to the interconnection cable between IDU and ODU of ALS equipment. It is an internal interface of the equipment. The IDU-ODU interconnection cable carries: DC power supply from the IDU Base-Band data stream to/from IDU (bi-directional, full-duplex data transmission is used on IDU-ODU cable)
