Sunday Service: March 10, 2013. 11:00 AM Speaker: Rev. Jennifer Innis, Called by Choice Reverend Jennifer Innis of First Jefferson Unitarian Universalist Church in Ft. Worth will be our guest at UUFW this Sunday. She is also our new Ministerial Settlement Representative. Her sermon titled Called by Choice, will draw on the ministerial search process to offer guidance on how we make major decisions in our lives. After the sermon there will be a brief break for coffee and snacks. Then we will return to the sanctuary for a meeting with Rev. Innis with the purpose of outlining the ministerial search process. We hope that everyone will make a point to join us for the meeting. Childcare will be provided in the nursery by Jack Cervantes and Isabella Villanueva.

A sneak peek at our March 17 Sunday Service
Hey, UUers--it's "Blowing in the Wind" that there's going to be a Bob Dylan Sunday. It's not at
"Positively Fourth Street" but at UU on Sunday, March 17. Everybody, including the "Girl from the North Country," The "Rainy Day Woman," and "Quinn the Eskimo" will be there. "Mr. Tamborine Man" is doing the lighting, "John Wesley Harding" is sound man, and the "Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands" will greet you at the door. Even if you are down in the "Subterranean Homesick Blues," pick yourself up and roll on in. If you are still in your P.J.'s "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right." Be there or B square.

March 8. The UU Fellowship of Bell County has been asked to have the
members of it's drum circle (One Drum on Facebook) to facilitate an 'Adult Drum Circle' on March 8, 2013 in Lorena, TX at Enchanted Cedar from 7pm to 10 pm. There will be an intro by the drummers on drum etiquette, as well as a short performance of improvisational drumming. It's an open circle and all are invited. UU Parenting with us in a series of five biweekly sessions. Sessions will be held after Sunday services at 12:30 PM, and childcare will be provided. Dont fret if you missed the first session on Feb 24. You can still join us for the second lesson on March 17 and come away with good usable information and fresh ideas for parenting. Homeless Coalition Meeting. Fri, March 15. The HOT Homeless Coalition meets monthly, usually

UUFW Community Camping Trip Anyone?
The Derricks, Nobises and VanWagners are going to Big Bend National Park for a week, leaving on or about Apr. 28 or 29. We'll be pulling our RV trailers and probably staying in the Rio Grande Village Campground (where tent camping is also available). (The Derricks will then spend the following week at the Davis Mts. Music Festival
Mark your calendars now, and call your friends!

UUFW will host a fun-filled evening of musical talent! We will warm up in P.T. Barnum Fellowship Hall with a circle jamboree, playing & singing everyones favorites. (Bring an instrument. Be creative!)
After a break for tasty hors doeuvres and drinks (BYOB), musicians and singers will take to the stage to showcase their favorite songs. Slated Performances by:
Jan Forney (NYC scat/blues,) The Horton Duo (flute & guitar, world music), Jon Fox (jazz guitar), Keith Warren (singer, guitar, piano),
The Derricks & The VanWagners (folk singers), Kris Cervantes (singer), and any others who wish to share their talents!
This will be quite a show, so dont miss it! We hope to have many participants and a large invited crowd, with donations going toward new audio and video equipment for our sanctuary. Please help publicize our event. Thank you very much in advance.
