Myspace Social networking site that allows its users to create webpages to interact with other users. Users of the service are able to create blogs, upload videos and photos, and design profiles to showcase their interests and talents. Myspace has provided a place for users to meet new friends and keep in touch with people across the world. The site has grown tremendously since its inception in 2003 and has even launched the careers of some music artists and actors. The site has received backlash from critics who believe that some users use the service to stalk and prey on other users. To combat this issue, Myspace has developed privacy settings to allow users to specify who they would like to view their profile and personal information. In 2005, the site was purchased by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporations and it operated under Fox Interactive Media.

Skype is an IP telephony service provider that offers free calling between subscribers and low-cost calling to people who don't use the service. In addition to standard telephone calls, Skype enables file transfers, texting, video chat and videoconferencing. The service is available for desktop computers, notebook and tablet computers and other mobile devices, including mobile phones. A number of companies, including Skype, produce dedicated Skype phones. YouTube The largest video sharing site on the Web. YouTube lets anyone upload short videos for private or public viewing. Founded in 2005 by Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim, it was acquired by Google in 2006 for $1.65 billion. YouTube is another amazing Internet phenomenon with meteoric growth like Amazon.com, Yahoo, Google and Facebook. Within a couple years, more than 25 quadrillion bytes (petabytes) of videos were being streamed from the

site each month.

Browser Short for Web browser, a software application used to locate, retrieve and also display content on the World Wide Web, including Web pages, images, video and other files. As a client/server model, the browser is the client run on a computer that contacts the Web server and requests information. The Web server sends the information back to the Web browser which displays the results on the computer or other Internet-enabled device that supports a browser. Yahoo is an American multinational internet corporation headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. It is widely known for its web portal, search engine Yahoo! Search, and related services, including Yahoo! Directory, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! News, Yahoo!

Finance, Yahoo! Groups, Yahoo! Answers, advertising, online mapping, video sharing, fantasy sports and its social media website. It is one of the most popular sites in the United States.[3] According to news sources, roughly 700 million people visit Yahoo! websites every month.[4][5] Yahoo! itself claims it attracts "more than half a billion consumers every month in more than 30 languages."

Googol is the mathematical term for a 1 followed by 100 zeros. Googles play on the term reflects the companys mission to organize the immense amount of information available on the web.
