They discover that she and three other teens from 1989 have strange marks on their bodies and one of the exhumed bodies is actually a chimpanzee with a metal implant in its nose. Billy Miles, who was involved in the 1989 incident, is hypnotized and reveals details about alien abductions. Scully finds a piece of evidence that survived the fire, which Billy calls an alien communication device. It is taken and stored in a Pentagon facility.

    S1.01.Pilot - March 1992 Scully is asigned to spy and report agent Mulders activity on the X-files.

    . A student, Karen Swenson is found dead into a forest near (15km from) the local town (Nortweast Coastal Oregon). Later one finds that she was in the 89 promotion in Oregon among with: Billy Miles (alive, in coma - son of the serif), Ray Soames (dead - exhumed), Peggy Odell (alive - in a whealchair), Theresa Nemman (alive - doughter of Dr. Nemman) The autopsy report of other 3 dead teens from the 89 was performed by Dr. Nemman, who doesnt report any marks on the bodies, but the autopsy of Karen Swenson wasnt performed by him and evidencied two distinct marks on her lower back (encountered before in South Dakota, Texas). Mulder already has a sample from these marks but doesnt recognize the substance. On the road to the grave of one of the previous victims, Mulder and Scully encounter a magnetic anomaly (car radio noise) that makes Mulder to make a mark (an x) on the road with a paint spray. Mulder exhumes one of the previous victims (Ray Soames) and discovers that the body from the crave is not human (probably cimpanzee) and has a small unidentified object (grey metalic implant) into the nazal cavity. Mulder and Scully goes to the local hospital to visit another 89 teens Billy Miles and Peggy Odell and finds that Peggy Odell has the 2 marks onto her body. Mulder and Scully decides to go into the forest where Karen Swenson was found to investigate further. Scully finds a strange dust, ash-like sand and take a sample. Then Scully met a man from the county sherif department who tell them to return. On their way they experience a time lost of 9min (9:03 to 9:12) exactly on the spot marked before on the road. Mulder speaks about one Dr. Heinz Werber who put him into a deep regresion hypnosis to help him remeber the night when his sister was kidnaped by someone/something. Peggy Odell is found dead, hit by a truck, with her hand watch stopped at 9:03. Somebody distroyed the lab where the exhumed body and samples analysis were. Lated they find that Scullys motel room was burned. There were the x-rays, photos and forest sand samples. After Mulder figures out that Billy Miles was the killer of Karen Swenson, they go to the forest where her corpse was found to take another sand sample but they finds Billys father, Billy and Theresa. Billy is put under hypnosis and tells something about alien abductions and unsuccesfully experiments. Scully present her raport about the case but is unusable in instance because of lack of phisical evidence and the story about aliens. Scully presents then a real phisical evidence that escaped from the fire, something called by Billy Miles as a communication device. The item is taken and stored by Cigarette-smoking-man in a storing facility into the Pentagon building. Later, Mulder finds out that there was no official investigation about that case and that the papers were distroyed.
