CEPEL also have developed the model NH2 for Reliability Analysis in Transmission and Generation (nonsequential statistical Monte Carlo), in which I worked until 2004. We also have the model FLUPOT for Non-Linear Optimal Power Flow using Interior Points with Logarithmic Barrier. Starting from FLUPOT, I developed a new hybrid model using Genetic Algorithms for my master's degree. It is important to point out that these models have state of art algorithms in their respective fields and are used by the Brazilian National Operator (ONS). (POM, OPM, BOR,...) for contingency analysis, optimal mitigation measures, Boundary of operating regions, stability,...ect.
