Nature of the study: The study is focused on efficiency of social media marketing in Orange County Resorts ltd. The efficiency will be evaluated on certain basis such as customer preference, customer choice of media to get information regarding various products. And to study about which are the social media Sites that Orange County Resorts are indulged in and to what extent it is effective. And finding out what al are the social media sites in which Orange County Resorts are not indulged in, and which can be implemented in future to promote the resort and finding out to what extent it will be effective.

Background of the study: Hospitality industry is one of the growing industries. So the customers will have a very wide range of choice and this will increase the bargaining power of the customer and additional benefit they receive. Social media marketing is one of the main factors in the growth of the resort/hospitality industry. Currently different resorts have different kind of marketing strategies and different kinds of social media campaign. So here I am trying to find out the efficiency of social media marketing at the resort.

Objectives of the study: The primary objective of the study is to understand the efficiency of social media marketing. To study the effectiveness of social media marketing at Orange County Resort. To know that, to which extent social media is effective in hospitality industry To know how many people are familiar with social media To know about what extent customer uses social media daily To know what all are the social Medias that is being used by the customers most frequently.
