Synopsis This course provides learners with the knowledge and the skills necessary to communicate with the media, politicians and political advisers, the community and other relevant stakeholders. It explores the dimensions of communication and leadership within the public sector. Learners will explore the role of leadership in public organisations, the theoretical frameworks for leadership as well as the relationship between leadership, organisational change and effective management strategies. Emphasis will also be given to communicative skills that are useful within the public sector.
