Defaultlayoutbehaviour
Openastudyofyourchoice.Aeskulapwillautomaticallychoosealayoutwhichdisplaysallseries
ofthestudy.Thisexamplestudycontains6MRseries.

Settingacustomlayout
OntheleftsideoftheuppertoolbaryouwillfindaMenutoolbuttonforswitchingthecurrent
layoutofthestudy.Bypressingthebuttonthelayoutofthestudywillcyclethoughallavailable
settings.

Ifyoupressthearrowrightofthebuttonapopupmenuwithallavailablelayoutswillshowup.

Nowselecte.g.the2x2Serieslayout.
Thestudyviewwillchangeit'slayout:

Reordering
Nowwewouldliketoreordertheseriesofthestudy.
Selectaseriesyouwouldliketochange(justclickintoitwiththeleftmousebutton).
Nowholdthe<CTRL>keyandpresstherightmousebuttoninsidetheseriesview.
Amenuwiththumbnailsofallseries(notonlythevisibleones)willpopup.

Selectthenewseriesfromthemenu.
Thecurrentandtheselectedserieswillbeexchanged.

SingleSeriesmode
Yourlayoutusuallycontains2ormoreseries.Ifyouwouldliketoviewonly1seriesofthecurrent
studyyouneedtoswitchtotheSingleSeriesmode.

TogglingtheSingleSeriesmode
Selectaseriesofacurrentlyopenedstudybyclickingintoitsviewwiththeleftmousebutton.
IntheupperToolbaryouwillfindaToggleButtonenabling/disablingtheSingleSeriesmode.

Directlyswitchingtoaseries
It'spossibletoswitchdirectlytoaseriesbyselectingtheseriesfromamenu.RightoftheSingle
Seriesbuttonyouwillfindanarrow.Ifyoupressthisbuttonamenuwithallavailableserieswill
popup.
Selectthedesiredseriesfromthemenu.TheselectedserieswillbedisplayedintheSingleSeries
mode.

Usingthemouse
Itmightsoundstrangethatthere'satutorialaboutusingthemousebutwithinAeskulapthemouse
anditsbuttonsdoalotoftasks.Forallfunctionsyouwillneeda3buttonmousewithscrollwheel.

WindowCenter/Width
That'safairlysimpleone:
Movethemousetoanydisplay.Presstheleftmousebuttonandmoveitwhileholdingthebutton
down.
MovementwillchangeCenter/Widthvalues:

leftright:changethewindowcenter

updown:changethewindowwidth

Thecurrentwindowvalueswillbedisplayedatthebottomleftofthedisplay.

Zooming
Pressthemiddlemousebutton,onascrollwheelmouseyouhavetopress(notrotate)thewheel,
holdthebuttonandmovethemouseupanddown.
Movementwillchangethezoomlevel:

up:zoomin

down:zoomout

Panning
Presstherightmousebutton,holdthebuttonandmovethemouse.Movementwillpantheimagein
thecorrespondingdirection.Youneedtozoomintotheimagefirsttobeabletopan.

Scrolling
Usethemousewheeltonavigatethroughalltheimagesofaseries.Alternativelyyoumayusethe
scrollbarrightofthedisplay.
