COMMUNICATION PLAN

INTRODUCTION Adela Serra Ty Medical Center (ASTMMC) is a 200-bed tertiary healthcare institution located in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur. Its mission is to provide comprehensive, affordable, and sustainable quality health services through utilization of modern health facilities by compassionate and competent health workers in partnership with LGUs, NGOs and other stakeholders. Moreover, ASTMMCs emergency department provides 24-hour service to the people of Surigao del Sur and institutes immediate and competent care to patients and their families. However, no matter how competent the nurses/staff are but there is the lack of equipment and facilities, some patients feel unsatisfied with the services; and this has created problems over the years. As a government institution, procurement of medical supplies has not been satisfactory and patients suffer. Since patients in the ER require immediate medical attention, it should be equipped with the necessary medical tools, aside from highly trained medical staff/team.

It has been the staffs fervent hope that ASTMMC will be able to acquire more advance medical equipment and be able to provide more trainings and updates in order to provide optimal care to its patients and their families. MATRIX
