SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
YMCA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The YMCA works to ensure that regardless of ability to pay, we make it possible for everyone in the community to participate in our programs and activities. For that reason, our Y has a scholarship program to make our programs and activities more affordable. In previous years, the Y awarded over $250,000 in membership and program subsidies to those who could not afford the fees. If you believe in the mission of the Y and you believe in how the Y can help individuals and families in our community with improving their health, then please consider a donation to the Jersey Shore YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. The Strong Kids Campaign is our annual program to fund the scholarship program. One hundred percent of the money donated goes directly to the benefit of children, adults and families in our community.
$________Other specific amount you wish to give. $25 Your donation allows a young individual to benefit from a membership for three months. $50 Helps a child attend one sports session, building self esteem in a young child. $100 Allows for a child to attend our afterschool program for two weeks. $250 Makes it possible for a child to attend our Summer Day Camp for three weeks.. $500 Enables one child to participate in our Preschool Education Classes, providing a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Thank you for helping our YMCA strive to improve youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
