Wives should be submissive to their husbands as thuough to the Lord; because the husband is the head of the wife just as Christ is the head of the Church, His body, of which He is also the Saviour. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ love the Church and gave Himself up for her to make her holy. Husbands should love their wives as they love their own bodies. THE NUPTIAL BLESSING PRIEST: My dear friends, let us turn to the Lord and pray that He will bless HAZEL now married in Christ to CARLO and that he will unite in love the couple he has joined in this holy bond. May she always follow the example of the holy woman, whose praises are sung in the scriptures.
