Ablution or as known as Wudu according to Quran Surah Maidah 5:6: O ye who believe! when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. if ye are In a state of ceremonial impurity, bathe your whole body. but if ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been In contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands, Allah doth not wish to place you In a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete His favour to you, that ye may be grateful. Surah Nisa 4:43: O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged, until ye can understand all that ye say,- nor in a state of ceremonial impurity (Except when travelling on the road), until after washing your whole body. If ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands. For Allah doth blot out sins and forgive again and again. In Islam we are told to offer Wudu or ablution before Salah or standing for Prayer. As the Quran says in AL-QUR'AN 5:6

6. O ye who believe! when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. if ye are In a state of ceremonial impurity, bathe your whole body. but if ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been In contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands, Allah doth not wish to place you In a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete His favour to you, that ye may be grateful. SURAH NISA 4:43:O ye who believe! More to come from Hadith or the narration of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) about the ablution.. What to say after ablution Bk 2, Number 0451: 'Uqba b. 'Amir reported: We were entrusted with the task of tending the camels. On my turn when I came back in the evening after grazing them in the pastures, I found Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) stand and address the people. I heard these words of his: If any Muslim performs ablution well, then stands and prays two rak'ahs setting about them with his heart as well as his face, Paradise would be guaranteed to him. I said: What a fine thing is this! And a narrator who was before me said: The first was better than even this. When I cast a glance, I saw that it was 'Umair who said: I see that you have just come and observed: If anyone amongst you performs the ablution, and then completes the ablution well and then says: I testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the servant of Allah and His Messenger, the eight gates of Paradise would be opened for him and he may enter by whichever of them he wishes. WHAT TO SAY AFTER ABLUTION Bk 2, Number 0452: Uqba b. 'Amir alJuhani reported: Verily the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said and then narrated (the hadith) like one (mentioned above) except (this) that he said: He who performed ablution and said: I testify that there is no god but Allah, the One, there is no associate with Him and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger. Book 1, Number 0181: Narrated Busrah daughter of Safwan: Abdullah ibn AbuBakr reported that he heard Urwah say: I entered upon Marwan ibn alHakam. We mentioned things that render the ablution void. Marwan said: Does it become void by touching the penis? Urwah replied: This I do not know. Marwan said: Busrah daughter of Safwan reported to me that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) say: He who touches his penis should perform ablution. Medical Benefits of Wudu Wudu is the Islamic act of washing parts of the body using water. Muslims are required to perform Wudu in preparation for ritual prayers. As the Ayat indicates Wudu involves the following things Washing hands up to the elbows Washing face Wiping the Head (and ear) Washing the feet up to ankles Wudu possesses two manifest benefits - the medical benefit and spiritual one. Ablution before going to sleep Prophet Muhammad (SAW) encouraged doing ablution before going to bed. This same ritual is also encouraged byYoga experts who say that washing important motor and sensory organs such as the hands, arms, eyes, legs, mouthand genitals before sleep using cool water relaxes the body preparing it for a deep sleep. Biological Active Spots (idea behind Chinese reflex therapy)

In an article titled "Muslims Rituals and their Effect on the Person's Health", Dr. MagomedMagomedov, assistant tothe department of the Man's General Hygiene and Ecology in the Daghestan State Medical Academy, speaks abouthow ablution stimulates the biological rhythms of the body and specifically Biological Active Spots (BASes), verymuch like the idea behind Chinese reflexotherapy. Man's internal organs, in their turn, present a no lesssophisticated bio-energetical whole; they all have indissoluble multichannel bilateral connections with the skin, which hosts special spots, whose functions resemble those of buttons on "control" and " recharge boards"responsible for particular organs. These spots are called biologically active spots (BASes). While pointing out to the similarities between ablution and the science of Chinese reflexology in his fascinating article, Dr. Magomedov also states the main different points. To become a doctor in reflexology, he says, one has to take a 15 to 20 year course of study, incomparable with the simple learning techniques of ablution. In another comparison, reflexotherapy was primarily used to cure diseases and very rarely for prevention, while, aswe shall see, ablution has many preventive benefits. There was also a negative side to reflexotherapy, he says, onethat is not found in ablution; a patient was exposed to traumas since doctors used cauterization. (Cauterization is amedical term describing the burning of the body to remove or close a part of it.)"The majority of the most powerful BASes are being washed during the Muslim ritual. It is not the doctor, who hadstudied for many years, who does it, but every Muslim by himself. Besides, praying five times a day obliges a Muslimto take the preventive measures against diseases beforehand." According to Dr. Magomedov, Chinese medicine says that there are more than 700 BASes, and sixty-six of them have quick reflex therapy effects and are named the drastic (or aggression or antique or prime-elements) spots. Out of these sixty-six spots, sixty-one of them are located in zones required for Wudu while the other five are located between the ankle and knee. THE FACE: When the face is washed during Wudu, it "recharges" such organs as the intestines, stomach and bladder,in addition to having a positive effect on the nervous and reproductive systems, says Dr. Magomedov in his findings, adding that the BAS responsible for the osseous system, intestine, nervous system, lumbar area, stomach, pancreas,gall-bladder, thyroid gland, solar plexus and others are situated on the right leg, another area reached during Wudu. THE LEGS: When a Muslim washes his left leg, the BAS responsible for the work of the pituitary gland isstimulated. This gland is located in the brain and regulates the functioning of the endocrine glands and controls growing. THE EARS: In the ear's cochlea are hundreds of BASes that "harmonize the work of almost all organs, decrease highblood pressure and relieve tooth and throat pain."Ear ablution is considered Sunna (Prophetic tradition). Washingthe ear helps in getting them free from wax accumulation, which may cause ear infections as well as affecting theinner ear, this eventually causes body

imbalances. Another aspect that Dr. Magomedov stresses on is that Prophetic tradition emphasized the importance of massaging and applying pressure during ablution, which is something that has a scientifically-grounded explanation. Dr. Magomedov said that his studies were triggered by his solemn belief that the five-time-a-day Muslim prayerswere bound to have not only an "indisputable spiritual effect" but were also bound to "have a purely physicalhealing effect as well." Other Benefits of Wudu Wudu protects the body from mycosis in the toes, skin infections and suppurations as well as pus accumulations. Italso minimizes possibility of skin cancers, as it removes chemical substances from the skin before they accumulatethereon. That is why skin cancers are rare in Islamic countries. Also, massage of the different parts of the body, which is done in Wudu stimulates blood circulation and causes more blood to flow through the whole body, particularly to the brain and kidneys.Ablution also protects from tooth decays, eye infections, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, pelvic infections and other bacterial infections Medical Philosophy behind Ghusl Besides ablution it is compulsory for a Muslim to perform ghusl (complete bath) after a seminal discharge, be it dueto a seminal discharge or sexual intercourse.Someone might ask that:Why does Islam order a person to wash hisentire body after seminal discharge whereas it is only a particular organ that becomes unclean. Studies conducted by the scientists reveal that within the human body exist two vegetative nervous networks whichcontrol and regulate all the activities of the body. These two nervous networks - the Sympathetic nerves and theParasympathetic nerves - are spread out throughout the body and around all the internal and external systems andtracts. The function of the Sympathetic nerves is to accelerate and stimulate the activities of the various tracts of thebody, whereas the Parasympathetic nerves function to decelerate and diminish them.In effect, one plays the role ofthe accelerator of an automobile while the other plays the role of the brakes; with a balanced functioning of thesetwo sets of nerves, the systems of the body work in a balanced and normal manner. At times certain occurrences in the body disrupt this balance and equilibrium one of these being the issue of orgasm, which is usually contemporaneous with a seminal discharge. In such cases, the Parasympathetic nerves (the decelerating nerves) tend to take a lead over the Sympathetic nerves and consequently disrupt the equilibrium, negatively. It has also been established that amongst the things that could force the Sympathetic nerves into activity and re-establish the lost equilibrium is contact of water with the body, and since the effect of orgasm is noticeably felt on allparts of the body and the equilibrium existing between these two sets of nerves is disrupted all over the

body, henceit has been ordered that after sexual intercourse or seminal discharge the entire body should be washed with waterso that as a result of its regenerative effect, equilibrium is once again established between these two sets of nerves, all over the body.In addition to the above, the obligation of the ghusl on seminal discharge (known as ghusl of janabat) is an Islamiccompulsion for maintaining cleanliness of the body and observance of hygiene, throughout the life. This is becausethere are numerous individuals, who are neglectful of their cleanliness and hygiene, but this Islamic ruling forcesthem to wash themselves at regular intervals and keep themselves clean. And this is not specific to the people ofthe past eras, for even in our times there are numerous such individuals, who, for various reasons, tend to beneglectful of their cleanliness and hygiene. (Question No.3162) does touching baby vommit or baby stools/urine break one`s wudoo? One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: does touching baby vommit or baby stools/urine break one`s wudoo? Answer: Touching Baby vomit Urine Stool Wudu In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slaveservant and the seal of His Messengers. Umm Qais came to the Messenger of Allah (saws) with her unweaned son. After a while, the baby urinated in the Prophet's (saws) lap. The Prophet (saws) called for some water, which he sprinkled over his clothes, and did not give them a complete washing. Related by Bukhari and Muslim. If a babys vomit or stools or urine do touch a parent or a person, it does not effect the validity of their wudu. The person in wudu should simply wash the part of the clothes or body where these impurities might have touched, and make himself available for prayer. The scholars in Islam are of the opinion that sprinkling is sufficient as long as the infant is still nursing. If he eats solid food, his urine must be washed from the parts of the clothes and/or body where the impurities might have touched; but in all cases the wudu of the person who is touched by the babys impurities does not break or become invalid. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question no.8464)Sunnah of wudu. One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Can u plz say me of how to make wulu??what are the duas we will should while performing wulu?? Answer: Sunnah of wudu In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Your Question: .can u plz say me of how to make wulu?? Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 111 Narrated by Ali ibn AbuTalib Abdu Khayr said: An utensil containing water and a wash-basin were brought to Hadrat Ali (r.a.) ibn Abi Taalib. He (Ali (r.a.)) poured water from the utensil on his right hand and washed both his hands three times, rinsed the mouth three times, snuffed up water and cleansed the nose three times. He then washed his face three times, and washed his right hand (up to the elbow) three times and washed his left hand (upto the elbow) three times. He then put his hand in water and wiped his head once. He then washed his right foot (upto the ankles) thrice and left foot (upto the ankles) thrice, and then he said: If one is pleased to know the method of performing ablution of the Messenger of Allah (saws), this is how he did it. The Sunnah method of performing the wudu is: Make intention to purify oneself for prayer and say Bismillah Wash both hands upto the wrists three times. Thoroughly rinse ones mouth three times. Snuff water and cleanse the nose three times. Wash ones face three times Wash ones right hand upto and including ones elbow three times. Wash ones left hand upto and including ones elbow three times. Wipe ones head once. Wash ones right foot upto and including ones ankles three times. Wash ones left foot upto and including ones ankles three times. Your Question: what are the duas we will should while performing wulu?? There is absolutely no evidence in the authentic and established Sunnah that other than the declaration of Bismillah at the beginning of the wudu, the Messenger of Allah (saws) would recite any specific dua or supplication during the performance of the wudu. There is indeed evidence that he (saws) would make one of various supplications to Allah Subhanah after he had finished his wudu. The Messenger of Allah (saws) supplicated Allah thus after he had completed his wudu, : Allah hummaj alnee minat-tawwabeen, waj alnee minal mutahtahereen (O Allah, make me one of those who constantly repents to You, and of those who purify themselves.) Related by At-Tirmidhi.

Abu Saeed Al Khudri narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: Whoever makes wudu then says upon finishing his wudu: Subhanaka Allah humma wa bihamdika, ashhadu anlaa ilaaha illa anta, astaghfiruka wa atoobu ilaik (Glory be to You O Allah, and all praise belongs to You; I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except You. I seek Your Forgiveness, and I turn to You), it is written in a parchment, then sealed; and is not opened till the Day of Resurrection. Narrated Hadrat Umar ibn Al-Khattab (r.a.) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say: None of you makes wudu and completes the wudu, then says: I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah Alone, He has no partners; and I bear witness that Mohamed is His slaveservant and His Messenger, except that all eight Gates of Paradise are opened for him, so he may enter by whichever he pleases. Related by Muslim, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi, An Nisaae, and Ibn Maajah. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question no.8408)Wipe neck during wudu. One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Can you please help me with your knowledge on the following text, because what we have been doing The Masah of complete head including ears, but here one of my friend passing me a reference of Allamah Ibn Hajar asqalaani of wiping the Nape. Masah (passing wet fingers) Over the Nape. Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (radhiallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: "Whoever performs wudhu and makes masah over his nape, he will be saved from wearing a necklace (of fire) around his neck on the the day of judgement". The famous commentator of Sahih alBukhari, Allamah Ibn Hajar Asqalaani (R.A), writes in his book Talkheesul Habeer (vol. 1: p.92) that this narration is Sahih. Allamah Shawkani (R.A.) has also affirmed this in Naylul Awtaar (vol. 1, p.204). Answer: Wipe neck during wudu In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter5 Surah Maidah verse 6: O you who have believed! When you rise to offer the Salat, you must wash your faces and hands and your arms up to the elbows, and wipe your head with wet hands and wash your feet up to the ankles. And if you become unclean, cleanse yourself with a full bath. If, however, you have touched women and you can find no water, then cleanse yourselves with pure dust. Strike your palms on it and wipe your hands and faces with it. Allah does not will to make life hard for you, but He wills to purify you, and complete His blessings upon you so that you may show gratitude. The command of wudu is from the above Aayah of Surah Maidah, and an obligatory pre-condition for performing the prayers. Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 3.155 Narrated by Humran I saw Uthman (r.a.) performing ablution; he washed his hands thrice, rinsed his mouth and then washed his nose, by putting water in it and then blowing it out, and washed his face thrice, and then washed his right forearm up to the elbow thrice, and then the left-forearm up to the elbow thrice, then smeared his head with water, washed his right foot thrice, and then his left foot thrice and said, "I saw Allah's Messenger (saws) performing ablution similar to my present ablution. Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 111 Narrated by Ali ibn AbuTalib Abdu Khayr said: Ali came upon us and he had already offered prayer. He called for water. We asked: What will you do with water when you have already offered prayer? - Perhaps to teach us. A utensil containing water and a wash-basin were brought (to him). He poured water from the utensil on his

right hand and washed both his hands three times, rinsed the mouth, snuffed up water and cleansed the nose three times. He then washed his face three times, and washed his right hand three times and washed his left hand three times. He then put his hand in water and wiped his head once. He then washed his right foot thrice and left foot thrice, then said: If one is pleased to know the method of performing ablution of the Messenger of Allah (saws), this is how he (saws) did it. Respected brother in Islam, the wiping of the nape or neck is not accepted as a rite of wudu by any of the four major schools of thought (Shafei, Maliki, Hanbali, and Hanafi); and the hadith related by Al-Asqalani is not accepted as authentic by them. The act of wudu is something the Messenger of Allah (saws) did thousands of times and hundreds if not thousands of his companions witnessed it..the absolute majority of the companions who witnessed and narrated the rites of wudu did not make mention of the wiping of the nape by the Prophet (saws). And Allah Alone Knows Best. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question no.8522)Ghusl after oral sex. One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: I have a quesion that I couldnot clear since long time, Al Hamdulilla, now I am in right place. The question is, even scholars are not supporting oral sex, if one has made oral sex for very short time by his wife without any intention or having ejaculation or orgasm and no any releasing of sperm, is it obligatory to purify with a full bath for both or one of them. Answer: Ghusl after oral sex In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Ref: Oral sex Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 223: 223 Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will. Abu Dhar al-Ghafari reported: The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: there is a reward for you [even] in sex with your wife." The companions asked: O Messenger of Allah (saws) is there a reward if one satisfies his passion?" He (saws) said: "Do you know that if he satisfies it unlawfully he has taken a sin upon himself? Likewise, if he satisfies it lawfully, he is rewarded." Related by Ahmad and Muslim. Islam has allowed the husband and the wife in marriage every possible liberty to enjoy conjugal relations with each other, except three: It is strictly prohibited to have sexual intercourse with ones wife during her period of menstruation. It is strictly prohibited to enter the woman through her anus. Although there is no specific prohibition mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah, the majority of the scholars in Islam have voiced their opinion against oral sex, whereby one touches the others private organs with their mouth. Other than the above three restrictions, the believers are at absolute liberty to enjoy conjugal relations with each other any place, any time, and any how their hearts desire. To derive pleasure by touching ones spouses private parts with the mouth is what is known as oral sex. Such an act is obviously unnatural, unhealthy, unhygienic, unclean, impure and this act is not found even in any of the lower animate creations! Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf verse 157: 157 Those who follow the Messenger, the Ummi (unlettered) Prophet (Mohammed (saws)) whom they find mentioned in their own (Scriptures); in the Law and the Gospel; for he (Prophet Mohamed (saws)) commands them what is

just and forbids them what is evil: he allows them as lawful what is tayyibaat (good and pure) and prohibits them from what is Khabaayith (bad, evil and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honor him, help him, and follow the Light which is sent down with him: it is they who will prosper." But since the permissibility/impermissibility of this specific act of what is known today as oral sex is not mentioned by name or act anywhere in the Quran and the Sunnah, the God-fearing and the pious amongst the scholars in Islam have abstained from declaring it haraam; the most they have said is that the act is from the khabaaith (impure) and thus closer to the haraam than to the halaal, and the believers should fear Allah and abstain from it. Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 3.267 Narrated by An Numan bin Bashir The Prophet (saws) said "Both the halaal (lawful) and the haraam (unlawful) things are (made) obvious, and in between them are (suspicious) doubtful matters. So whoever forsakes those doubtful things lest he may commit a sin, will definitely avoid what is clearly unlawful; and whoever indulges in these (suspicious) doubtful things bravely, is likely to commit what is clearly illegal. Sins are Allah's Hima (i.e. private pasture) and whoever pastures (his sheep) near it, is likely to get in it at any moment." Given the unbelievable liberty Islam has granted to the husband and the wife to enjoy conjugal relations in their sacred bond of marriage, in our humble opinion, it would be best for the believers who sincerely fear Allah and the Last Day to strive to abstain from this doubtful act of oral sex; and Allah Alone Knows Best. Your Question: .if one has made oral sex for very short time by his wife without any intention or having ejaculation or orgasm and no any releasing of sperm, is it obligatory to purify with a full bath for both or one of them. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chatper 5 Surah Maidah verse 6 (part): ..If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity bathe your whole body. The acts which enlist one to the state of ceremonial or major impurity and make the performance of ghusl absolutely obligatory upon them before they can make themselves available for prayer are: After a wet-dream. When the male private organ so much as touches the female private organ. After sexual intercourse. After full sexual (semen) discharge. At the end of the period of menstruation of the women. After the end of the period of post-child birth menstruation of the women. The Messenger of Allah (saws) commanded and guided the believers that it is wajib for the believers to perform the ghusl or full bath before they attend the Friday mid-day and the Eid prayers. If one (Allah forbid) has touched their spouses private parts with their mouth (oral sex), the majority of the scholars and jurists in Islam are of the opinion

that the act by itself does not enlist one to the state of ceremonial or major impurity. As long the private parts did not touch each other, nor was the full sexual discharge released, one would not be required to perform the ghusl or full bath. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength. Question no.8284)Break wudu during prayer. One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: If a person breaks his ablution(wudu) during offering the prayer with jamaat will he have to reoffer the prayer or the prayer would be accepted ?? Answer: Break wudu during prayer In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 205 Narrated by Ali ibn Talib The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: When any of you breaks wind during the prayer, he should turn away, perform ablution, and repeat the prayer. Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 1.137 Narrated by Abu Huraira Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "The prayer of a person who does Hadath is not accepted till he performs (repeats) the ablution." A person from Hadaramout asked Abu Huraira, "What is 'Hadath'?" Abu Huraira replied, "'Hadath' means the passing of wind from the anus." To be in the state of wudu is an absolutely obligatory pre-condition when offering ones prayers. If one passes wind during prayers or breaks ones wudu, that person must leave the prayers immediately, re-do the wudu and then perform the prayer again. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Answer: If semen impurity touches clothes In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Your Question: I LIKE TO KNOW THAT IF A DRESS OR ANY CLOTH OR BEDSHEET IS WORE IN THE STATE OF IMPURITY (ie. HAAJAT OF GUSL) THEN THAT DRESS OR CLOTH OR BEDSHEET GETS DIRTY/ IMPURE OR NOT .. In principle, the mere wearing or touching of a cloth or a garment while one is in the state of ceremonial or major impurity does not by itself make that cloth or garment impure. What makes a cloth or a garment impure is if one is convinced that an impure substance has actually touched it. All the scholars and the jurists in Islam are unanimous in their opinion that urine is absolutely najis and impure, and one must thoroughly wash the parts of the body or the clothes it may have touched, before they can make themselves available for prayer. There is a difference of opinion amongst the scholars regarding the mani or semen being najis and impure; although some scholars consider semen as impure as urine, the majority of the scholars are of the opinion that semen is not impure like urine, and one needs to wash the clothes only if and when the semen is wet; but if the semen has dried, one need not wash the clothes, the scraping of the dried semen from the clothes would suffice and one could make themselves available for prayers in those garments. Sahih Muslim Hadith 572 Narrated by Aisha Abdullah ibn Shihab al-Khawlani reported: I stayed in the house of Aisha (r.a.) and had a wet dream (and perceived its effect on my garment), so (in the morning) I dipped both (the clothes) in water. This (act of mine) was watched by a maid-servant of Aisha (r.a.) and she informed her. She (Aisha (r.a.)) sent me a message: What prompted you to act like this with your clothes? He (the narrator) said: I told that I saw in a dream what a sleeper sees. She said: Did you find (wet fluid) on your clothes? I said: No. She said: Had you found anything you should have washed it. In case I found that (semen) on the garment of the Messenger of Allah (saws) dried up, I scraped it off with my nails.

Said Aishah (r.a.), "I used to scratch the semen off the Messenger of Allah's (saws) clothes if it was dry, and wash it off if it was still wet." Related by ad-Daraqutni, Abu 'Awanah and al-Bazzar. In light of the above quoted guidance, if one finds the bed-sheet or the garment still wet with semen, one should thoroughly wash the places where the semen has touched. But if the semen has thoroughly dried, one may scrape the dried semen off their clothes, and wear those garments in their prayer if one wishes to do so. Your Question: WE KNOW MALE`S/MEN GETS IMPURE BY a)INTERCOURCE b)MASTURBATION c) NIGHTFALL SO, HOW AND WHEN DOES A FEMALE/WOMEN GETS IMPURE OR WHEN DOES SHE REQUIRE GHUSL. A female would be considered to be in the state of major or ceremonial impurity which requires a ghusl or full bath of purification before she makes herself available for prayer are: sexual intercourse reaching the state of orgasm or ejaculation If the male private organ has so much as touched the female private organ, regardless of whether full sexual intercourse took place or not. Question no.7965)Nail polish ghusl. One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: JAZAK ALLAH KHAIR for replying to my other mails i would like to knw i had applied nail polish during my mensturation and before taking a ghousal bath i removed it but after taking the path i noticed that i had a dot only a dot of nail polish on my thumb now i am confused if i should take the ghousal bath again or not though i have started namaz please reply fast JAZAK ALLAH KHAIR may ALLAH reward u for ur noble cause ALLAH HAFIZ (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Nail polish ghusl In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. The only issue with nail-polish, when applied on the nails does not allow water to touch the nails; whereas one amongst the obligatory conditions of performing ghusl for purification is to wash ones body in such a way that no part of it must remain dry. Respected sister in Islam, if you had applied nail-polish during your days of impurity, and before performing the ghusl for purification you had striven to remove the nail-polish from your nails..and later you happened to notice that even after your best efforts to remove the nail-polish, a dot of nail-polish remained on your nails..there is absolutely no harm and in the opinion of the absolute majority of the scholars and jurists in Islam it does not effect the state of your purity nor does it effect the acceptance of your prayers in the least. And Allah Alone Knows Best. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 64 Surah Tagabhun verse 16: 16 So fear Allah as much as ye can; listen and obey; and spend in charity for the benefit of your own souls: and those saved from the covetousness of their own souls they are the ones that achieve prosperity. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 286: 286 On no soul does Allah place a burden greater than it can bear.

Answer: Can women in menses take bath In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Question no.7853)Can you send me the benefit of Wadu (Wazuh) because i think if we know the results of doing Wadu or always being in wadu it is to good for us hereafeter. Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: As Salam alaikum Wa Rahmatallah Can you send me the benefit of Wadu ( Wazuh ) because i think if we know the results of doing Wadu or always being in wadu it is to good for us hereafeter. Thank You (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Significance of wudu In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 6 (part): 6 O ye who believe! When ye prepare for prayer wash your faces, and your hands (and arms) to the elbows, rub your heads (with water), and (wash) your feet to the ankles. Abdullah ibn as-Sunnabiji stated that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "When a slave makes ablution and rinses his mouth, his wrong deeds fall from it. As he rinses his nose, his wrong deeds fall from it. When he washes his face, his wrong deeds fall from it until they fall from beneath his eyelashes. When he washes his hands, his wrong deeds fall from them until they fall from beneath his fingernails. When he wipes his head, his wrong deeds fall from it until they fall from his ears. When he washes his feet, his wrong deeds fall from them until they fall from beneath his toenails. Then his walking to the mosque and his prayer give him extra reward." Related by Malik, an-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah and al-Hakim. Anas ibn Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "If good characteristics exist in a person, Allah makes all of his acts good. If a person purifies himself for prayer, he expiates all of his sins and his prayer is considered an extra reward for him." (Related by al-Bazzar and at-Tabarani.

Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "'Shall I inform you (of an act) by which Allah erases sins and raises degrees?" They said, "Certainly, O Messenger of Allah (saws)." He (saws) said, "Perfecting the wudu under difficult circumstances, taking many steps to the mosque, and waiting for the (next) prayer after the (last) prayer has been performed. Related by Malik, Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and an-Nasa'i. Your Question: .or always being in wadu it is to good for us hereafeter. In light of the guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah, being in the state of wudu is absolutely obligatory and a pre-condition only before and during two acts of worship: Performing a prayer Performing the tawaaf of the Sacred House. Although not obligatory, it is recommended and extremely preferred that one should be in the state of wudu when reciting the Glorious Quran. There is a grave misconception amongst some believers that it is considered a great piety and virtue to constantly and always be in the state of wudu, regardless of whether or not one intends to offer ones prayers or not, perform the tawaaf or not, or recite the Glorious Quran or not! There is absolutely no mention in the authentic and established Sunnah that the Messenger of Allah (saws) recommended or encouraged the believers to always remain or maintain the state of wudu, nor is there any evidence in the Sunnah to suggest that the Prophet (saws) or his companions strove to always remain in the state of wudu! If it was considered piety, or a virtue, or it was meritorious in the Sight of Allah Subhanah for one to constantly remain in the state of wudu, Allah is our witness brother, the Messenger of Allah (saws) would have certainly practiced it himself, and encouraged the believers to do so! Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 3751 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas The Messenger of Allah (saws) came out from the privy and food was presented to him. They (the companions (r.a.)) asked: Should we bring you water for wudu? He (saws) replied: I have been commanded to perform wudu when I get up for prayer! Sahih Muslim Hadith 725 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas The Messenger of Allah (saws) came out of the privy, and he was presented with some food, and the people reminded him about wudu, but he (saws) said: Am I to say prayer that I should perform the wudu? If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.

Question no.7745)Wudu [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

before

quran.

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: for a quran written in english would you need to perform wudhu before you read it? (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Wudu before quran In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 56 Surah Waqiah verses 77-79 77 That this is indeed a Qur'an, most honorable 78 In a Book well-guarded 79 Which none shall touch but those who are purified. Although the above aayah is meant to state how the Glorious Quran is honored by the noble Angels in the heavens; the scholars have opined that just as the Quran is honored in the heavens by the Angels, so should it be honored by the believers on the earth. And thus, one, who sincerely believes in Allah and the Last Day, should touch the Glorious Quran, regardless of whether the copy is in the original Arabic text or a translation in any other language, only when one is pure and clean, and preferably when in the state of wudu. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 6: 6 O ye who believe! When ye prepare for prayer wash your faces and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. The only acts in Islam whereby the wudu is absolutely obligatory and a precondition is when one is about to offer a prayer or while circumambulating the Holy Kaaba; if these two rites are performed without the wudu, it would nullify the rites. Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 229 Narrated by Ali ibn AbuTalib Abdullah ibn Salamah said: I, accompanied by other two persons, one from us and the other from Banu Asad, called upon Ali. He sent them to a certain

territory (on some mission) saying: You are going to a sturdy and vigorous people; hence display your power for religion. He then stood and entered the toilet. He then came out and called for water and took a handful of it. Then he wiped (his hands) with it and began to recite the Qur'an. They were surprised at this (action). Thereupon he said: The Messenger of Allah (saws) came out from the privy and taught us the Quran and took meat with us. Nothing prevented him from (reciting) the Quran except sexual defilement. Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 3751 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas The Messenger of Allah (saws) came out from the privy and water was presented to him. They (the people) asked: Should we bring you water for ablution? He (saws) replied: I have been commanded to perform ablution (only) when I get up for prayer. Sahih Muslim Hadith 725 Narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas The Messenger of Allah (saws) came out of the privy, and he was presented with some food, and the people reminded him about ablution, but he (saws) said: Am I to say prayer that I should perform ablution? In light of the above guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah, although it would be preferred to touch or recite the Glorious Quran while in the state of wudu, there is no obligation and no harm if one were to touch or recite it even when not in the state of wudu or ablution. But one should strive to abstain from touching or reciting the Quran when one is in the state of janaba or major ceremonial impurity. Question No. 564) How the woduh should be performed (with meanings) as done by the Prophet (PBUH). [Topic:Ablution (wudu)] Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) one of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Dear Brother Burhan, Salaam, Could you please also tell us how the woduh should be performed (with meanings) as done by the Prophet (PBUH). I will be surprised if the correct way is what has been taught to us. Please also tell us the source of your information both for the prayers and for the woduh. (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: The correct way to do wudu In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. The correct way to do any act of worship is to obey and follow Allah and His Messenger (saws). The sources of my information is based on the verse of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws). Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 6: O you who have believed, when you rise to offer the salaah you must wash your faces and hands, and arms upto the elbows, and wipe your heads with wet hands, and wash your feet upto the ankles. And if you have become unclean (due to sexual intercourse, etc.), cleanse yourself with a full bath. If, however, you are sick or on a journey, or if any of have relieved himself, or if you have touched women (meaning sexual intercourse), and you can find no water; then cleanse yourselves with pure dust. Strike your palms on it and wipe your hands and faces with it. Allah does not will to make life hard for you, but He wills to purify you and complete His blessing upon you, so that you may show gratitude. The Sunnah of the Prophet to do wudoo is as follows: Make intention that you want to purify (wudoo) yourself for prayer. This is not necessarily a vocal neeyat, just an intention in the heart; as Allah indeed knows

even the secrets of the hearts. The fact that you are going for wudoo is itself a neeyat that you want to purify yourself for salaah. Then say, "Bismillah ar Rahmaan ar Raheem" as you wash your hands. Then do the "kulli" (gargle) Then hold the water in the cup of your hands and sniff the water until you feel it reaches the inner bones of your nose and blow out the water. Then wash the face from forehead to the chin. Then wash the right hand all the way upto to elbow making sure the elbow is washed properly. Then wash the left hand in the same way. Then wipe your wet hands over your head, then your ear. Then properly wash your feet upto the ankles making sure water reaches the inner flesh of your foot-fingers right upto the ankles. Everything should be done preferably three times as was the Sunnah of the Prophet (saws) , but once is sufficient. In Surah Maidah, Allah has made obligatory the following for wudoo: 1. washing of the face 2. washing of the hands 3. wiping of your head 4. washing of the feet. The kulli, nose and ear washes are the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh) and if one does not do these acts, he will still be in the state of wudoo and available for prayer. Other than "Bismillah.....", the Prophet (pbuh) did not pray any particular duas during wudoo, so please avoid making any particular supplication on each wash. Please note that to read a particular dua for each wudoo action is not proven from the Prophet (pbuh) and is thus an innovation (bidah) and should thus be avoided. Also please note that the washing of the neck is also not proven from the Prophet (pbuh) and is thus an innovation (bidah) and should be avoided. The Prophet (pbuh) also used to supplicate Allah regularly in this way: Allah humma ajj allni minat tawwaabeena wajj allni minal muta tahhereen. "O Allah, make me one of those who always returns to you for forgiveness and make me one of those who purifies himself for you." Please note that dua is not part of wudoo, but a general supplication of the Prophet (pbuh). Regarding doing wudoo after taking a shower, please note that the shower itself is a bigger form of purification than the wudoo, that is why wudoo is not necessary after the shower; as long as the intention of purifying oneself for prayer is done before or during the full bath or shower. The Sunnah of the Prophet here, is that espcially after Janaaba (sexual intercouse), he would first wash his private parts, then perform wudoo, and then take the full bath or shower. This is the Sunnah way of purification. Even if one just takes the

shower, it will suffice, but of-course, to do the Sunnah way of purification is always better in the sight of Allah Subhanah. Question no.7507)I want ot ask that if my clothes are wets due to preejaculation fuid, then can i recite any Qurani Ayat. [Topic:Ablution (wudu)] One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: I want ot ask that if my clothes are wets due to pre-ejaculation fuid, then can i recite any Qurani Ayat,Hadees,Dua(Pray). Bcoz it is uncontrol thing. Please guide me about it. (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Madhi make dua In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Fiqh-us-Sunnah Fiqh 1.10 Wadi is a thick white secretion discharged (by some people) after urination. It is considered impure. Aishah said, " Wadi comes out after urination. The person should wash the private parts and perform ablution. It is not necessary to perform ghusl. This is related by Ibn al-Mundhir. Ibn 'Abbas related that "mani (ejaculation or full sexual discharge) requires ghusl. As for madhi (prostatic fluid or initial sexual discharge) and wadi they require a complete purification." This is related by al-Athram. Al-Baihaqi has it with the wording, "Concerning madhi and wadi, he said, 'Wash your sexual organs and perform the same type of ablution as you perform for prayer."' Other than urine, there are basically three types of discharges that are released from ones private organs: Wadi (a thick white secretion immediately after uniration by some people) Madhi (a sort of slow release of lubricant just prior to a full sexual discharge) Mani (a full sexual discharge) If only Wadi or Madhi is released, one does not require a ghusl or full bath to purify himself; he must wash his private parts and the part of his clothes or body where the wadi or madhi has touched, do the wudu, and he would be available for prayer. But when the Mani or a full sexual discharge is released, it would become obligatory for the person to perform a ghusl or full bath to purify oneself before making oneself available for prayer. One is obligated and required to be in the state of ceremonial purity (ghusl) and ablution (wudu) only when one wishes to offer ones prayer, and during the

circumambulation (tawaaf) of the Kaaba. It is preferred to be in the state of wudu when reciting from the Holy Quran. But if one is not in the state of ceremonial purity or wudu, there is absolutely no restriction if one wishes to recite any hadeeth, or dua, or the remembrance of Allah, or to make supplications. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Ghusl after sex In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 3.153 Narrated by Abu Bakr bin Abdur Rahman My father and I went to 'Aisha and she said, "I testify that Allah's Messenger (saws) at times used to get up in the morning in a state of Janaba from sexual intercourse, not from a wet dream and then he would fast that day." Then he went to Um Salama (another wife of the Prophet (saws)) and she also narrated a similar thing. Although it is highly recommended that one purify oneself immediately after sexual intercourse, there is absolutely no obligation upon the believers that they must purify themselves from the state of janaba (ceremonial impurity) in order to begin or fulfill their fast. There is evidence and allowance in the Sunnah that if one wishes to sleep, eat, or drink or do other chores before purifying oneself with ghusl or full bath from their state of janaba, one must at least do the wudu or ablution.

Sahih Muslim Hadith 603 Narrated by Aisha Abdullah ibn AbdulQays said, "I asked Aisha about the Witr (prayer) of the Messenger of Allah (saws) and made mention of a hadith, then I said: What did he (saws) do after having sexual intercourse? Did he take a bath before going to sleep or did he sleep before taking a bath? She said: He (saws) did all these. Sometimes he (saws) took a bath and then slept, and sometimes he (saws) performed ablution only and went to sleep. I (the narrator) said: Praise be to Allah Who has made things easy (for the believers in the deen). As much as being in the state of purity is not a pre-condition for beginning a fast, being in the state of purity is an absolute pre-condition for one to be able to offer their prayers. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chaper 5 Surah Maidah verse 6: 6 O ye who believe! When ye prepare for prayer wash your faces and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity bathe your whole body. Now to address your specific questions: ..... so my question was that during sex i used to covered my head n after sex i ll do taharat+abulution n after that in morning i ll have bath from neck to toe First and foremost, there is absolutely no requirement or obligation whatsoever for a believer, man or woman, to cover their heads when enjoying conjugal relations with their spouses in their sacred bond of marriage.but if one wishes or desires of their own will to do so, there is absolutely no harm. Secondly, after sexual intercourse, if for any reason whatsoever you did not wish to purify yourself immediately with a full bath (ghusl), there is absolutely no harm; but it is preferred that one do ablution (wudu) before they do any chores or go to sleep. Thirdly, if one is in the state of ceremonial impurity and chooses or intends to fast that day, there is absolutely no harm. And finally, washing oneself from ones neck to toe is fine; but if one is in a state of ceremonial impurity and wishes to become pure to enable them to offer their prayersthen it is absolutely obligatory and a pre-condition of prayer that one purify themselves with a full-bath or ghusl whereby every part of one body is washed with no part being left dry. Thus sister in conclusion, if you were in the state of ceremonial impurity and you begun your fasts, your fasts will be deemed valid and acceptable to Allah Subhanah; but to perform the full-bath or ghusl after sexual intercourse is absolutely obligatory on a believer, man or woman, before they intend to offer their prayers.for prayers offered in the state of ceremonial impurity are not considered valid or lawful in the Sight of Shariah and of Allah Subhanah.

Washing oneself from ones neck to ones toe does not constitute a ghusl or full bath in Shariah; thus if one is in the state of ceremonial impurity and intends to purify themselves in order to be eligible to offer their prayers, it is absolutely obligatory upon them to perform a full bath or ghusl before they stand for their prayers. Respected Sister, if perchance you have offered your prayers after merely washing yourself from your neck to your toe after being the state of ceremonial impurity, those particular number of prayers will not be deemed valid, and you would have to make up all those invalid prayers. Question No.7216)WHILE FASTING IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO DO GHUSUL. One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: ASSALAMUALAIKUM I AM TOLD BY SOME ONE THAT, WHILE FASTING IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO DO GHUSUL AFTER ZOHAR. THAT IS ONE HAS TO DO GHUSUL ONLY BEFORE ZOHAR WHILE FASTING. PLEASE CLARIFY (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Ghusl bath after dhuhr In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Respected brother in Islam, to the best of our knowledge there is absolutely nothing in the Glorious Quran or the authentic and established Sunnah of the Messenger (saws) which discourages, leave alone prohibits, the believers from performing the ghusl or full bath after dhuhr or at any time of their convenience, regardless of whether they are in the state of fasting or not! One is at absolute liberty to perform the ghusl or full bath whenever they wish and please. The person who told you that it is not allowed to perform the ghusl or full bath after dhuhr time when in the state of fasting should be asked to provide his evidence and proof for his prohibition from the Quran or the Sunnah.and if he is unable to provide it, and we absolutely assure you that there is nothing in

the Quran or the Sunnah to that effect, then know with absolute conviction that the prohibition is a mere statement of falsehood from that person, and has absolutely nothing to do with the guidance of Islam! If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength. Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Is Wudu valid for long period if I keep it(without sleep, touch women etc... which void wudu), Suppose I made wudu for Zuhar prayar and is it valid untill Azar prayar (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: How long wudu valid In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. All the schools of thought are absolutely unanimous in their opinion that the following acts invalidate ones wudu or ablution: Any release from ones private parts (urine, sexual emission, wet dream release, menses blood for women, stool, wind, etc.) Deep sleep sexual intercourse There is no time period for the validity of ones state of wudu in Shariah; provided one did not do any of the above listed three things which invalidate or break ones wudu, one would be considered to be in the state of wudu and eligible to make themselves available for prayer.

Say one performs the wudu for fajr or morning prayers, and does not do anything which would break or invalidate their state of wudu.they are at liberty to offer their dhuhr, asr, magrib and isha prayers in that same state of wudu, if indeed they wish to do so. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength. Question No.6881)Women [Topic:Ablution (wudu)] touch break wudu.

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: dear brother, asalamalaikum, thankyou for answering us all patiently.regarding question for women. does a woman`s wudu become invalid if she is in hijaab, but she shakes hands with her son`s friend who has come home? Also does touching of any non-mehram man in the way of musaffah(shaking hands to say hello) will invalidate her wudu or not or also accidental touching of any non-mehram man. kindly advise in the light of the quran and the sunnah. salaams. jazakallah khair. (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Women touch break wudu In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 24 Surah Noor verses 30-31: 30 Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. 31 And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty.

First and foremost, unless and until it is an absolute emergency or an unintentional accident, two non-mehrams of the opposite sex should never touch each other. It simply does not befit the character of a believing man or a believing woman to touch, leave alone shake hands with an adult non-mehram member of the opposite sex! Your Question: Also does touching of any non-mehram man in the way of musaffah(shaking hands to say hello) will invalidate her wudu or not or also accidental touching of any non-mehram man. Hadrat Aishah (r.a.) related that the Messenger of Allah (saws) kissed her while he was fasting and said, "Kissing does not nullify the wudu, nor does it break the fast." The vast majority of the scholars and jurists in Islam are of the opinion that the intentional or unintentional touching of a member of the opposite sex (mehram or non-mehram) does not invalidate ones state of wudu. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question No.6511)Is [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

masah

over

the

scarf

aloud

for

women.

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Is masah over the scarf aloud for women (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Wipe scarf wudu women In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Said Amru ibn Umayyah, "I saw the Messenger of Allah (saws) wipe over his turban and shoes (while doing wudu)." Related by Ahmad, al-Bukhari and Ibn Majah. Bilal reported that the Prophet (saws) said, "Wipe over your shoes and your head covering (while doing wudu)." Related by Ahmad. There is enough evidence in the authentic and established Sunnah that the Messenger of Allah (saws) at times would wipe over his turban or head-cover while doing the wudu. The scholars and jurists in Islam are unanimous in their opinion that if one, regardless of whether a man or a woman, were to wipe over their head-cover while doing the wudu it would suffice to fulfill the obligatory requirement of wiping the heads in wudu. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question No.6738)I have been told that a baby boy`s urine is not considered najas as long as he drinks only the mother`s milk. [Topic:Ablution (wudu)] [email protected] Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Assalamu Alaikum, I have to ask a question about babies. I have been told that a baby boy`s urine is not considered najas as long as he drinks only the mother`s milk. What if we give the baby water? Doctors say that there is no need to give the baby water in the first six months. But what if the baby is thirsty and the woman is in some place where she is unable to feed the baby? May Allah bless us all (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Baby urine impure In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. If a babys vomit or stools or urine do touch a parent or a person, it does not effect the validity of their wudu or state of purity. The person should simply wash the part of the clothes or body where these impurities might have touched, and make himself available for prayer. The scholars in Islam are of the opinion that the sprinkling of pure water is sufficient as long as the infant is still nursing. If the infant eats solid food, its urine must be washed from the parts of the clothes and/or body where the impurities might have touched; but in all cases the wudu of the person who is touched by the babys impurities does not break nor become invalid.

Question No.6666)Is it a sin to masturbate ?there are times when girls become wet. [Topic:Ablution (wudu)] Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Is it a sin to masturbate ?there are times when girls become wet and boys get hardened on hearing or seeing something related to sex,do we need to take bath or simply perform wudu to purify ourselves? (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Erection ghusl In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Your Question: Is it a sin to masturbate ? Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 23 Surah Muminoon verses 1-11: 1 The Believers must (eventually) win through 2 Those who humble themselves in their prayers; 3 Who avoid vain talk; 4 Who are active in deeds of charity; 5 Who scrupulously guard their modesty (private parts), 6 Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess; for (in their case) they are free from blame. 7 But those whose desires exceed those limits, are transgressors! 8 Those who faithfully observe their trust and their covenants; 9 And who (strictly) guard their prayers 10 Those will be the heirs 11 Who will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (forever). The scholars of all schools of thought in Islam are unanimous in their opinion that the evil act of masturbation would, without an iota of a doubt, fall under the category of those whose desires exceed the limits. Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter24 Surah Noor verse 30:

O Prophet, enjoin the believing men to restrain their gaze, and guard their private parts. This is a more righteous way for them. Allah has knowledge of whatever they do. Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 17 Surah Israa verse 32: Do not even go near zina (fornication or adultery) for it is a very indecent thing and a very evil way! Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 4886 Narrated by Anas ibn Malik That he heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say: The eye commits zina, and the palm of the hand, the foot, the body, the tongue and private part of the body confirm it or deny it. Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.260 Narrated by Ibn Abbas I have not seen a thing resembling 'lamam' (minor sins) than what Abu Huraira narrated from the Prophet (saws) who said "Allah has written for the children of Adan their share of adultery which he commits inevitably. The adultery of the eyes is the sight (to gaze at a forbidden thing), the adultery of the tongue is the talk, and the inner self wishes and desires and the private parts testify all this or deny it." Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 36 Surah Ya-Seen verse 65: 65 That Day shall We set a seal on their mouths. But their hands will speak to Us and their feet bear witness to all that they did. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 41 Surah Ha-Meem verses 19-23: 19 On the Day that the enemies of Allah will be gathered together to the Fire they will be marched in ranks. 20 At length when they reach the (Fire) their hearing, their sight, and their skins will bear witness against them as to (all) their deeds. 21 They will say to their skins: "Why bear ye witness against us?" They (their skins) will say: "Allah hath given us speech, (He) Who giveth speech to everything: He created you for the first time and unto Him were ye to return. 22 "Ye did not seek to hide yourselves lest your hearing, your sight, and your skins should bear witness against you! But ye did think that Allah knew not many of the things that ye used to do! 23 "But this thought of yours which ye did entertain concerning your Lord hath brought you to destruction, and (now) have ye become of those utterly lost!" Although in legal terminology zina would constitute the actual penetration of the male organ into the female organ, the Messenger of Allah (saws) warned the believers regarding the minor zina of the eyes, hands, legs, etc. Not only is the evil act of zina prescribed as absolutely forbidden in Islam, every path or every way that leads one to this evil path is also declared as forbidden! Such is the gravity of this abomination of zina, that Allah Subhanah commands the believers in the Quran: Do not even go near zina!!! Thus if one intentionally sees and watches fahisha (indecency), it would constitute zina of the eyes; if one derives pleasure from talks of fahisha, it

would constitute zina of the ears and mouth, if one touches or goes towards something or someone with the intention of fahisha, it would constitute zina of the hands and the legs! Although there is no prescribed punishment for the zina of the eyes, mouth, ears, hands and feet in the life of this world, if one dies without seeking taubah and repentance from their Lord, he will be held severely accountable for these acts of minor zina in the Presence of their Majestic Lord in the Hereafter. The abomination of masturbation is a sin and an evil act, and the believers who sincerely fear Allah and the Last Day must strive to absolutely abstain from this and all evil. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf verse 33: 33 Say (O Prophet (saws)): The things that my Lord hath indeed (absolutely) forbidden (declared haraam) are: shameful deeds whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to Allah for which he hath given no authority; and saying things about Allah of which ye have no knowledge. Your Question: there are times when girls become wet and boys get hardened on hearing or seeing something related to sex,do we need to take bath or simply perform wudu to purify ourselves? Al-Baihaqi has it with the wording, "Concerning madhi and wadi, he said, 'Wash your sexual organs and perform the same type of ablution as you perform for prayer."' Other than urine, there are basically three types of discharges that are released from ones private organs: Wadi (a thick white secretion immediately after uniration by some people) Madhi (a sort of slow release of lubricant just prior to a full sexual discharge) Mani (a full sexual discharge) The mere erection of the male organ by itself does not violate the wudu, but if anything is released from ones private organ, male or female, it would indeed violate their state of purity. If only Wadi or Madhi is released, one does not require a ghusl or full bath to purify oneself; one must wash their private parts and the part of their clothes or body where the wadi or madhi has touched, do the wudu, and make themselves available for prayer. But when the Mani or a full sexual discharge is released, it would become obligatory for the person to perform a ghusl or full bath to purify oneself, before making themselves available for prayer.

Question No.6450)Orgasm ghusl. [Topic:Ablution (wudu)] Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: if we are huuging and kissing each other with clothes on and the female touches the peak and reches her orgasm though no liquid comes out from her sexual parts so will she be still paak or will she have to take gusal for that. (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Orgasm ghusl In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Your Question: if we are huuging and kissing each other with clothes on and the female touches the peak and reches her orgasm though no liquid comes out from her sexual parts so will she be still paak or will she have to take gusal for that. If during the process of hugging or kissing or sexual foreplay one happens to release a lubricant like release from their private parts, regardless of whether that happens to a male or a female, it would constitute the release of madhi; one is not obligated in Shariah to purify oneself with a ghusl after the release of madhi, but one should wash ones private parts and the parts of the body or clothes where the madhi might have touched and make themselves available for prayer. But if one were to reach their sexual peak and experience orgasm or a full sexual discharge (mani), then one would be considered in a state of major sexual impurity and it would be absolutely obligatory for them to purify themselves with a ghusl before they make themselves available for prayer. Question No.6321)Wudu [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

and

intention.

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: the main aim of ablution is to apply the water. Ablution must be done by serially (Tarteeb) tarteeb also include in the fard of ablution. Now my question is before starting wadu I applied the soap on my face & full hands and wash the above from water then I started wadu, when I reach to do the wadu of my face and full hands I imagine that there is already water on my face and hands, just I make `niyya` in my heart that It is already done and I don`t make wadu of face and full hands and I go for next step. Please confirm in the light of Quran and Hadith whether it is acceptable or not. (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Wudu and intention In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. When ye prepare for prayer wash your faces and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. The main aim of wudu or ablution is not merely to apply water on ones specified body parts; but just as one who has believed professes cleanliness from spiritual filth like polytheism and disbelief, a believer who intends to offer his prayers must physically cleanse himself by washing the specified parts before he makes himself/herself available for the prayer. If one washes all of the body parts required by Shariah for one to perform the wudu, but one did not have the intention to purify oneself before they washed themselves, they will not be considered to be in the state of wudu in the Sight of Allah Subhanah. It is an absolutely obligatory condition for a wudu to be valid in Shariah that one make the intention to purify oneself before one starts one wudu.

Thus if one perchance happens to wash ones face and hands before they make intention for wudu; and only after the washing they intend to perform the wudu in preparation for prayer, it is absolutely obligatory in Shariah that the face and hands are washed again along with the other required body parts in their proper succession for their wudu to be valid in the Sight of Allah Subhanah.

Question No.6193)if someone asks his wife to masturbate him, is it necessary for the husband to perform the obligatory ghusl. [Topic:Ablution (wudu)] Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Assalamu Alaikum. please clarify this doubt : if someone asks his wife to masturbate him, is it necessary for the husband to perform the obligatory ghusl (like after intercourse) or is it sufficient to wash his private parts only. (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Ghusl after sex discharge In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. But when the Mani or a full sexual discharge is released, it would become obligatory for the person to perform a ghusl or full bath to purify oneself before making oneself available for prayer. Your Question: .if someone asks his wife to masturbate him, is it necessary for the husband to perform the obligatory ghusl (like after intercourse) or is it sufficient to wash his private parts only. Regardless of how one experiences a full sexual discharge (semen), whether it be through sexual intercourse, wet-dream, masturbation, etc..one would be considered to be in the state of major ceremonial impurity (janaba) and a ghusl or full bath of purification would be absolutely obligatory on such a person before he makes himself available for prayer. The mere washing of ones private parts after a full sexual discharge of semen would not suffice to cleanse one from their state of major ceremonial impurity (janaba); it would be absolutely obligatory for one who is in the state of janaba to perform the ghusl before making themselves available for prayer. ghusl.

As i will spend whole day in my office in between that i will have to pray for zohar and Asar as i do not have time to go back to home again and take ghusl i heard from one of my friend that if u do not have time to take ghusl u can wash that dirty place and do wudu and can pray and when you go back home take ghusl, i want to know whether this is right or wrong (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Male discharge and ghusl In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Your Statement: ..when i come to office in the mornning by some or the other reason my sperm get it is not big but a small dot only. Dear and beloved brother in Islam, the mani or sperm is a full and unmistakable sexual discharge which is released through the private organ of the man when one experiences sexual climax. From what you have related in your question, in all probability the drop/s that you experience are either some urine drops which are discharged, or possibly wadi; and it is thus not required in Shariah that one perform a ghusl or full bath of purification before one makes themselves available for prayer. All you need to do if you experience such minor discharge is wash your private parts and the parts of the body and clothes where this discharge might have touched, perform the wudu, and make yourselves available for prayer. Question No.5902)" Is [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

wudu

acceptable

when

nail

polish

is

on.?

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Dear Brother ASalaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh My Question is " Is wudu acceptable when nail polish is on.? Or is it allowed when we do wudu and then put nail polish.till the next wudu if the nail polish is still on can we do wudu on our polished nails?" "can we put mendi on nails if nail polish is not allowed and do wudu?" Thank you REgards, (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Henna nail polish and wudu In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. There is absolutely no harm or restriction if a woman offers her prayers in her full-make up or nail-polish. The only issue with nail-polish, when applied on the nails does not allow water to touch the nails; whereas one amongst the obligatory conditions of wudu is to wash ones hands in such a way that no part of it must remain dry. If the woman does the wudu first, and then applies the nail-polish, there is absolutely no harm in her offering her prayers with nail polish on her nails. Your Question: Is wudu acceptable when nail polish is on.? One amongst the obligatory conditions of wudu is to wash ones hands in such a way that absolutely no part of it must remain dry.thus the absolute majority of the scholars in Islam are of the opinion that because the application of nail polish on the nails would prevent the water from reaching that part of the hand, the wudu of such a person would not be deemed valid in the Sight of Shariah.

Your Question: .is it allowed when we do wudu and then put nail polish. If one does wudu first and then applies the nail polish, there is absolutely no harm and their wudu would be considered absolutely valid. Your Question: .till the next wudu if the nail polish is still on can we do wudu on our polished nails?" In the opinion of the majority of the scholars, the wudu done after the application of the nail polish would prevent the water from reaching every part of their hand.thus the wudu would not be deemed valid. If one has done wudu and then applied the nail polish, and if that wudu breaksit would be necessary for the person to remove the nail polish before they perform the wudu again. Your Question: can we put mendi on nails if nail polish is not allowed and do wudu? Unlike the nail polish which is a non-porous coating, the henna or mehndi is a porous die which allows water through it.thus the performance of wudu after one has applied henna on their hands or nails is absolutely lawful. Question No:5279)I have doubts in performing ablution. Is it required for ladies to cover their head while performig ablution ? [Topic:Ablution (wudu)] Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmathullahi wa Barakathuh, I have doubts in performing ablution. Is it required for ladies to cover their head while performig ablution ? How can ladies do ablution in public places ? Can we dry off the water with towel after ablution ? (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Ablution of women In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Your Question: Is it required for ladies to cover their head while performig ablution ? Except when the believing woman is in the presence of non-mehram men, or when she is offering her salaah, the believing woman is not obliged to cover her head, if she chooses not to do so. There is absolutely no evidence in Shariah that a woman is required or obliged to cover her head when she is performing her ablution or wudu. Your Question: How can ladies do ablution in public places ?

Alhamdolillah, even in this age of so called freedom, almost all the societies one finds oneself in, has separate wash-room facilities for men and women. Thus the believing woman would perform her ablution in a public ladies privy just as she would perform it in the privy of her house. Your Question: Can we dry off the water with towel after ablution ? Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 1.266 Narrated by Maimuna bint Al Harith I placed water for the bath (ghusl) of Allah's Messenger (saws) and put a screen. He poured water over his hands, and washed them once or twice. Then he (saws) poured water with his right hand over his left one and washed his private parts. He (saws) rubbed his hand over the earth or the wall and washed it. He (saws) rinsed his mouth and washed his nose by putting water in it and blowing it out. He (saws) washed his face, forearms and head. He (saws) then poured water over his body and then withdrew from that place and washed his feet. I presented him a piece of cloth (towel) and he (saws) pointed with his hand (that he does not want it), and did not take it. Although it is preferred to and a Sunnah to let the water dry itself through evaporation after ablution, the Messenger of Allah (saws) did not prohibit the believers from wiping themselves dry with a towel or sheet after ablution. Thus one may let the water after ablution dry through evaporation if one wishes, or one may wipe themselves dry with a towel or sheet, if one wishes.both ways are acceptable in Shariah. Question No.5068A)Can we muslims read quran without performing ablution? [Topic:Ablution (wudu)] Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Can we muslims read quran without performing ablution? (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Recite quran without wudu ablution In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 56 Surah Waqiah verses 77-79 77 That this is indeed a Qur'an, most honorable 78 In a Book well-guarded 79 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: Although the above aayah is meant to state how the Quran is honored by the noble Angels in the heavens; the scholars have opined that just as the Quran is honored in the heavens by the Angels, so should it be honored by the believers on the earth. And thus, one, who sincerely believes in Allah and the Last Day, should touch the Glorious Quran only when one is pure and clean, and preferably when in the state of wudu. The majority of the scholars are of the opinion that there is absolutely no requirement of wudu if one recites the Glorious Quran from ones memory; but it would be preferred (not an obligation nor a requirement) that one be in the state of wudu when reciting the Quran whilst looking or holding a copy of the Glorious Book. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength

Question No.4641)Where the prophet (pbuh) bled and made Wuthoo [Topic:Ablution (wudu)] Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: My friend tells me of two hadeeth: 1. Where the prophet (pbuh) bled and made Wuthoo And 2. Where the prophet (pbuh) bled and did`nt make Wuthoo.... He insists that there were two different context, Could you guys if possible elaborate upon this... Secondly.... My friend insists on sayin the prophet (pbuh) is not actually dead, but rather in a state of `sleep` which has been mistranslated as dead, and that all the prophets are still alive-Can you please elaborate upon this matter, and tell me the precise truth... (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Bleed and wudu and Prophet (saws) Alive In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Your Question: He insists that there were two different context, Could you guys if possible elaborate upon this... Said al-Hassan narrated that: "The Muslims still prayed even while wounded." (Related by al-Bukhari.) He also reported that "Ibn 'Umar squeezed a pimple until it bled, but he did not renew his ablution. Ibn Abi 'Uqiyy spat blood and continued his prayer. 'Umar ibn al-Khattab prayed while blood was flowing from him. 'Ibbad ibn Bishr was hit with an arrow while praying, but continued his prayers." (Related by Abu Dawud, Ibn Khuzaimah, and al-Bukhari.) Al-Muwatta Hadith 2.52 Yahya related from Malik from Abd ar Rahman ibn al-Mujabbar that he saw Salim ibn Abdullah (r.a.) with blood running from his nose so that his fingers were all coloured red. Then he rubbed it and prayed without doing wudu.

Al-Muwatta Hadith 2.51 Yahya related that Abd ar-Rahman ibn Harmala al-Aslami said, "I saw Said ibn al-Musayyab (r.a.) with his nose bleeding and blood poured out of it so that his fingers were all red from the blood coming out of his nose, and he prayed without doing wudu." There is enough and ample evidence amongst the authentic and established Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws) and amongst the tradition of his noble companions that a little bleeding does not invalidate ones wudu or ablution. It is thus obvious that in the tradition where it is recorded that the Messenger of Allah (saws) once bled and did ablution, it is very possible that the wudu of the Noble Prophet (saws) might have been broken or invalidated by something else other than the bleeding, which prompted him (saws) to renew his ablution. And Allah Alone Knows Best. Your Statement: My friend insists on sayin the prophet (pbuh) is not actually dead, but rather in a state of `sleep` which has been mistranslated as dead, and that all the prophets are still alive-Can you please elaborate upon this matter, and tell me the precise truth... Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 255: 255 Allah! There is no god but He (Alone), The Ever-Living, The SelfSubsisting Eternal. One of the Noble and Exclusive Attributes of Allah Subhanah is that He Alone is the Ever-Living. It is the inherent nature of all creation, and I repeat, all creation without exception, that they shall perish one day! Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 28 Surah Qasas verse 88: 88 And call not besides Allah on another god. There is no god but He. Everything (that exists) will perish, except His Own Face. To Him belongs the Command and to Him will ye (all) be brought back. Regardless of whether one in creation is a Prophet of Allah or anyone else, if one believes that there is someone in creation who is ever-living, one would have dared to share an Exclusive Attribute that belongs to Allah Subhanah with one in creation; and that would be a manifest form of the abomination of shirk! Allah is our witness, the Prophets of Allah were human beings and Allahs slave-servants who were sent with a Mission and a Message from their Lord; and once their mission was accomplished, like all human beings, they met with their appointment of death as Decreed and Determined by Allah Subhanah. Like all human beings who have tasted death, they too will only be raised up again on the Day of Resurrection. Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumar verse 30-31: (O Prophet) YOU SHALL DIE, and they too shall die! Then on the Day of Resurrection, you all will present your disputes before your Lord.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 144: Mohamed is no more than a Messenger. Other Messengers have already died before him. If then, he (saws) also dies or is slain, will you turn about on your heels? Remember, he who turns about on his heels, will do no harm at all to Allah. Of course, Allah will duly reward those who live as His grateful servants. It is reported from Aisha that Allah's Messenger (saws) died while Abu Bakr was at a place called As-Sunah (Al-'Aliya). Umar stood up and said, "By Allah! Allah's Messenger (saws) is not dead!" Umar (later on) said, "By Allah! Nothing occurred to my mind except that." He said, "Verily! Allah will resurrect him (saws) and he will cut the hands and legs of some men." Then Abu Bakr came and uncovered the face of Allah's Messenger (saws), kissed him and said, "Let my mother and father be sacrificed for you, (O Allah's Messenger (saws)), you are good in life and in death. By Allah in Whose Hands my life is, Allah will never make you taste death twice." Then he went out and said, "O oath-taker! Don't be hasty." When Abu Bakr spoke, Umar sat down. Abu Bakr praised and glorified Allah and said, No doubt! Whoever worshipped Muhammad, then Muhammad is dead, but whoever worshipped Allah, then Allah is alive and shall never die." Then he recited Allah's Statement.: "(O Muhammad) Verily you will die, and they also will die." (39.30) He also recited: Mohamed is no more than a Messenger. Other Messengers have already died before him. If then, he (saws) also dies or is slain, will you turn about on your heels? Remember, he who turns about on his heels, will do no harm at all to Allah. Of course, Allah will duly reward those who live as His grateful servants. (3.144) In light of the above aayahs from the Quran and the authentic and established narrations, it is proved beyond any doubt that the Last Messenger of Allah and the Mercy and Rahmah of Allah unto mankind, Mohamed ar Rasool Allah (saws) tasted the element of death as Decreed for all in creation by Allah Subhanah. Allah Says in the Glorious Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 185: Every soul shall have a taste of death: and only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. The Messenger of Allah (saws) died a natural death and was buried in Hadrat Aishas house adjacent to the Prophets (original) mosque in Medina. Thousands of companions witnessed his death, and prayed the janaaza over his dead body! All the scholars of Islam, of all schools and sects, are absolutely unanimous in their opinion that the Messenger of Allah (saws) is dead, and the Quranic aayahs and the above narrations prove this truth beyond any doubt whatsoever. The brother who insists that the Messenger of Allah (saws) is not dead but only in a state of sleep must be asked to present his evidence from the Quran and the Sunnah for his theory or belief. If the brother is unable to present his evidence or proof from the Quran and the Sunnah, and Allah is our witness

there is absolutely nothing in the Quran or Sunnah which even remotely substantiates such a belief, then one should know with conviction that the theory or belief of the brother that the Prophet (saws) is alive in his grave is absolutely unsubstantiated, baseless and absolutely against the guidance of the Quran and Sunnah. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question No.4302)I have heard that there are 8 things in which wudu get break [Topic:Ablution (wudu)] Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Dear Brother Asak I have heard that there are 8 things in which wudu get break, can u pls specify these 8 things and if there any other things other than this. Best regards (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: What breaks wudu In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. All the schools of thought are absolutely unanimous in their opinion that the following acts invalidate ones wudu or ablution: Any release from ones private parts (urine, sexual emission, wet dream release, menses blood for women, stool, wind, etc.) Deep sleep sexual intercourse The scholars and jurists in Islam have a difference of opinion whether the following acts invalidate the wudu or not; some have opined that these acts invalidate the wudu while others have opined that they do not: The touching of ones private parts The touching of women Constant bleeding of blood from any part of the body Vomiting The consuming of camel meat The washing of a deceaseds body.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question No.4387)what circumstances cause wudu or fast to break. For example, I have heard that if you appear without Hijaab in front of nonmehrem men you wudu is broken. Can you please advise on the above in relation to Women. [Topic:Ablution (wudu)] Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Salaam I wanted to ask what circumstances cause wudu or fast to break. For example, I have heard that if you appear without Hijaab in front of non-mehrem men you wudu is broken. Can you please advise on the above in relation to Women. Thank you (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: What things break wudu fast In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. All the schools of thought are absolutely unanimous in their opinion that the following acts invalidate ones wudu or ablution: Any release from ones private parts (urine, sexual emission, wet dream release, menses blood for women, stool, wind, etc.) Deep sleep sexual intercourse The scholars and jurists in Islam have a difference of opinion whether the following acts invalidate the wudu or not; some have opined that these acts invalidate the wudu while others have opined that they do not: The touching of ones private parts The touching of women Constant bleeding of blood from any part of the body Vomiting The consuming of camel meat

The washing of a deceaseds body. There are five things which will break or invalidate the fast: Eating Drinking Sexual intercourse voluntary semen discharge the menstruation of the woman while fasting Your Question: I have heard that if you appear without Hijaab in front of nonmehrem men you wudu is broken. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 24 Surah Noor verse 31: 31 And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! Turn ye all together towards Allah that ye may attain Bliss. If a believing woman intentionally appears without hijaab in front of nonmehram members of the opposite sex, although it does not invalidate or negate her state of wudu in any way whatsoever, she would definitely be guilty of a clear violation and transgression of the Commands of her Lord. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question No.3730)How [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

to

perform

wudu

according

to

the

sunnah?

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: right way of performind wudu (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Right way to do wudu as per sunnah In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slaveservant and the seal of His Messengers. Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 111 Narrated by Ali ibn AbuTalib

Abdu Khayr said: Ali came upon us and he had already offered prayer. He called for water. We asked: What will you do with water when you have already offered prayer? - Perhaps to teach us. A utensil containing water and a wash-basin were brought (to him). He poured water from the utensil on his right hand and washed both his hands three times, rinsed the mouth, snuffed up water and cleansed the nose three times. The scholars of Islam are unanimous in their opinion from the Ayaah of the Quran and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws) that if one washes the required body parts in wudu even once or twice, his wudu will be valid; but if he washes it thrice it would be in accordance to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws). Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question No.3725)Full [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

bath

after

shave

public

hair

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Assalam-o-alykum, my question is "is it necassary to bath after under shave or not? (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Full bath after shave public hair In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. We assume you wish to ask whether or not it is necessary or obligatory to take a full bath or ghusl after shaving ones pubic hair. Shaving ones hair by itself neither invalidates one state of purification nor ones state of wudu. Although it is not obligatory or necessary in Shariah for one to take a full bath of purification after shaving ones pubic hair; it would be recommended to take a bath, or at least wash the private parts thoroughly after shaving to maintain ones hygiene. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question No.3718)Wiping [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

over

nail

polish

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: brother Burhan assalamoalaikum i would like to know if there are any hadeeth or quranic verses regarding hand reading. i am strictly against it but i need some solid evidence to slience those who go regularly and believe in fortune tellers and hand readers. thanku (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Palmistry In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 31 Surah Luqman verse 34: Verily, the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah Alone. He it is Who sends down the rain, and He Alone knows what is taking shape in the wombs of the mothers. No living being knows what he will earn the next day, nor does any know in what land he is to die! Verily Allah is the All Knowing, Wise. Sahih Muslim Hadith 133 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: Don't you know what your Lord said? Your Lord observed: I (Allah) have never endowed My bondsmen with a favor, but a section amongst them disbelieved it, and said: stars, it was due to the stars! There is absolutely no evidence in the Quran or the Sunnah or even in science that the natural lines or folds on the palms have any particular wisdom, knowledge, predictions, or meanings. When Allah and His Messenger (saws) have not advised us, nor encouraged us to search for knowledge and meanings hidden in the natural folds and lines of ones palms, it does not behove and

befit a believer to play guessing games and/or make predictions based on such frivolous occurrences. Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah Nahl verse 98-100: Then, when you begin to recite the Quran, seek Allahs refuge against the accursed Shaytaan, for he has no power over those who believe and put their trust in Allah. Shaytaan has power (to inspire) only over those people, who make him their patron, and practice shirk by his temptation. In their urge to decipher or seek something of the knowledge of the future, ignorant people have tried every trick in the book, from palmistry to the movement of the stars, from the way a worm crawls to the crossing of a cat, etc.; and the Shaytaan has made it fair-seeming to them to believe in such absolute nonsense! The believers are content with the firm belief that none in the Universe has any knowledge of the future except the One and Only Majestic Lord of the Worlds. Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.232 Narrated by Aisha Some people asked Allah's Messenger (saws) about the fore-tellers. Allah's Messenger (saws) said to them, "They are nothing (i.e., liars)." The people said, 'O Allah's Messenger (saws)! Sometimes they tell something which comes out to be true." Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "That word which comes to be true is what a jinn snatches away by stealing and then pours it in the ear of his fore-teller with a sound similar to the cackle of a hen, and then they add to it one-hundred lies." The so-called knowledge of palmistry, or the deciphering of the happenings of the future by studying the position of the lines or marks in ones hands are nothing more than absolute lies, whims, conjecture, and guess-works of ignorant and unscrupulous people. There is absolutely no reality and relation between the lines and marks on ones hands and the events that take place in a persons life! Everything that happens in the heavens and the earth, is in the Absolute Control and Sole Domain of the All Powerful, All Knowing Lord of the Worlds. No star, no sun, no moon, no marks or lines on ones palms, and absolutely nothing and no one in the universe has the power to bring about any good or evil on anyone. All Power and All Strength is vested in the Hands of Allah Subhanah Alone. To believe in palmistry or any form of astrology , and to believe in the supposed prediction of the star-signs, palm-reading, etc. is a form and manifestation of the heinous sin of shirk; and all the believers must abstain from this abomination. To believe even a part of what the astrologer or the palmist has said, is to disbelieve in the Divine Decree and Qadr of the Lord; and a heinous sin. Thus the believers must absolutely abstain from such false beliefs; and put their full trust and belief in the Power and Might of the One Lord Alone! Allah Alone has

the Power and Knowledge of everything that is in existence, and absolutely no one else. If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), he can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), he can be assured of being led astray. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

No.3099)Talk

to

girl

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: pls. guide me. when i talk naughty to my girl friend, when i see naked foto. some drops of liquid discharge from my penis. what is this. this requires gusl or only wadhu can purify this.please guide me. (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Talk to girl In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness.

If Mani is released, then it become obligatory to perform a ghusl or full bath to purify oneself. It seems from your note that the drops of liquid discharged from your sexual organ is the lubricant madhi which does not require a ghusl or full bath of purification. What one must do after the discharge of madhi is wash ones private parts, wash the clothing where the discharge might have touched, perform the wudu and make oneself available for prayer. A ghusl or full bath of purification is only obligatory at the discharge of the mani or final ejaculation experienced at the climax of sexual emission. Dear and Beloved Brother, although you have not asked us to comment on it, it is our duty as your brothers and well-wishers in Islam to warn you in light of the guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah that indulging in talks of a sexual nature with a non-mehram woman or intentionally watching nude photos or pictures, etc. are manifest forms of the sin of fahisha or shameful deeds which have specifically been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger (saws). Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf verse 33: Say (O Prophet): The things which my Lord has declared haraam are: shameful deeds, whether open or secret; and sinful things; and transgression against the Truth. Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter24 Surah Noor verse 30: O Prophet, enjoin the believing men to restrain their gaze, and guard their private parts. This is a more righteous way for them. Allah has knowledge of whatever they do. Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 120: Eschew all sin open or secret: those who earn sin will get due recompense for their "earnings." Every deed done by the Children of Adam, will be brought forth in an Open Book in the Court of Allah on the Day of Judgment. And if a believer, who sincerely fears Allah and the Last Day, has done evil and shameful deeds in the past, must strive to immediately seek forgiveness from Allah and fear the Day when no deed will be hidden from the All Knowing, All Wise; and each individual will have to give a full accounting of the deeds that he had done. Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 99 Surah Zilzaal verses 7-8: (On the Day of Judgement) whoever has done an atoms weight of good shall see it; and whoever has done an atoms weight of evil, shall see it! Thus the believers should fear Allah and the Day of Severe Accounting, and strive to stay away from the haraam. On that Inevitable Day, even an atoms weight of evil done by man will be brought forth, and every individual will have to give a full accounting of every deed that he had done in the Awesome Presence of the Majestic and Supreme Lord of the Worlds.

Question No.2842)Dua [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

for

Ghusl

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: What is the specifc dua for taking bath for women after their menses and sex? (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Dua for Ghusl In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. There is no specific dua or supplication taught by the Messenger of Allah (saws) which a believer is required to recite before one takes a full bath or ghusl to purify oneself from sexual or major impurities. One only needs to make an intention in ones heart that he/she wishes to purify him/herself, and perform the full bath or ghusl according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws). Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question No.2315)Does [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

changing

clothes

break

Ablution?

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: ASSALAMALAIKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARKATUHU my question is :If I perform wuzu and then I change my clothes, does my wuzu break ? (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Does changing clothes break Ablution? In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. The conditions that would make the wudu or ablution invalid are: Answering the call of nature. Deep sleep Breaking wind or passing gas Voluntary or involuntary sexual discharge Sexual intercourse Menstruation or child birth (for women) The changing of clothes has absolutely no bearings on the validity of the wudu, and the wudu does not break if one changes into another pair of clothes. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question No.2258)What [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

invalidates

the

ablution

of

the

woman?

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: Asalam-o-alikum, In case of Women: Is ablution void if women speaks or sees or listens to None-Mehram person? What are the condition for Ablution to be Valid (In case of Women)? JazakAllah. (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: What invalidates the ablution of the woman? In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Q-1: Is ablution void if women speaks or sees or listens to None-Mehram person? The speaking, or seeing, or listening to a non-mehram male does not in any way invalidate the wudu or ablution of the woman. Q-2: What are the condition for Ablution to be Valid (In case of Women)? The conditions that would make the wudu or ablution of a women invalid are: Answering the call of nature. Deep sleep Breaking wind or passing gas Voluntary or involuntary sexual discharge Sexual intercourse Menstruation or child birth. Question No.2133)Wudu, [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

Dajjal

and

natural

circumsicion

Mu'meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu. Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

(May Allah's Peace,

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: As salaam alaikum Wa rahmatullah Wa barakatu, This is my second attempt in asking you some questions. I know and understand that volume of questions as very high and as such you are not able to answer my previous question. I have many questions and Iam asking all of them here. (1). What is the significance of a child born with natural circumcision? (2). Till date how many dajjals have appeared since and after Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), As Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) had told Sahabas that 30 dajjals would appear (including Antichrist). (3). Since wuzu breaks if hand touches private parts, then pls advice that during ghusl when wuzu has been made, then what to do when one has to rub the whole body after pouring water on head, and the two shoulders, as surely one would touch the private parts during rubbing the body. I would be highly obliged if all my queries are answered. You may take your time. May Allah bestow is choicest blessings on you here and hereafter. Ameen (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Wudu, Dajjal and natural circumsicion In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Q-1: What is the significance of a child born with natural circumcision? There is absolutely no significance in Islam if a child is born with natural cicumcision.

Q-2: Till date how many dajjals have appeared since and after Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), As Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) had told Sahabas that 30 dajjals would appear (including Antichrist). Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 4319 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah The Prophet (saws) said: The Last Hour will not come before there comes forth thirty Dajjals (Liars), each claiming himself to be the Messenger of Allah. There have indeed been several of these Liars who have claimed to be the Prophets or Messengers of Allah since and after the death of the Last and Final Prophet of Allah, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (saws). Allah Alone knows the exact number of these Liars that have appeared. It suffices for the believers, who truly believe in Allah and the Last Day, to believe every word of the Messenger of Allah (saws) that the Last Hour will not come until thirty of these Liars appear. Q-3: Since wuzu breaks if hand touches private parts, then pls advice that during ghusl when wuzu has been made, then what to do when one has to rub the whole body after pouring water on head, and the two shoulders, as surely one would touch the private parts during rubbing the body. There are two hadiths on the subject, if touching the private organs invalidates one wudu or ablution or not, and both are considered authentic by the scholars of Islam. Sunan of Abu-Dawood Hadith 181 Narrated by Busrah, daughter of Safwan Marwan said: Busrah, the daughter of Safwan reported to me that she heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say: He who touches his penis should perform ablution. A man asked the Prophet if a man who touches his penis has to perform ablution. Said the Prophet (saws), "No, it is just a part of you." Related by Bukhari and Muslim. The majority of the scholars in Islam are of the opinion that if one touches ones private organs unintentionally and without any sexual inclination, it would not invalidate ones wudu or ablution; but if one touches ones private organs with sexual inclination, it would indeed invalidate his wudu. But while doing ghusl or taking a full bath, it is the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws) to wash ones private organs first, then do the wudu and then pour the water over the full body making sure no part remains dry. Thus the washing of oness private parts would not invalidate one wudu in the least during ghusl. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Question No.745)Read [Topic:Ablution (wudu)]

Quran

without

Wudu?

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters, As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you) One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question: can i read quran without taking wudu[if i dont have wudu] (There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.) Answer: Read Quran without Wudu? In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 56 Surah Waqiah verse 77-79:That this is a Glorious Quran, inscribed in a well-guarded Book, which none can touch, except the purified. Although the above aayah is meant to state how the Quran is honored by the noble angels in the heavens; the scholars have opined that just as the Quran is honored in the heavens by the angels, so should it be honored on the earth. And thus, one should touch it only when one is pure and clean. Thus, it is always preferred to be in a state of wudu when one recites the Quran from the Book. But if one is reciting from memory, then there is no need to be in wudu. And if one is sexually impure, then he must not even touch the Quran, unless he purifies himself with a full bath or ghusl. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
