Overview & Purpose Students will learn about transitive & verbs. They will be able to define & identify these types of verbs as well as recreate their own sentences based upon their learned knowledge. Transitive & intransitive verbs are important in creating logical & grammatically correct sentences. This is also very important for their ACT scores & Standardized tests.

They will also have two weeks to write a short story to include every element of fiction listed. Students will, every day, be presented with a short story or novel we have written & be asked to identify the different elements of fiction that they have been presented with. They will also work in small groups; in these groups they will create a short story (end of first week to beginning/middle/end of second) using as many elements of fiction as possible. Possible Extra Credit.
