Kevin tries unsuccessfully to break up with his girlfriend Sasha by claiming he wants to travel the world and has bowel problems. When he finally tells her directly that their relationship isn't working, she agrees easily. The Break Up By Ian Bukenya

FADE IN INT. KEVINS APARTMENT-EVENING KEVIN and SASHA are sitting on the sofa, SASHA is telling KEVIN about her day and what she did. KEVIN nods his head like hes listening but is trying to think of a way to dump her.

VoiceOver: I need to get rid of this girl, she driving me CRAZY!!! WHAT CAN I SAY WHAT CAN I SAY! Sasha: Anyways enough about my day, let me tell you what I really wanted to say Kevin: Wait, wait. Me first Ive been meaning to tell you this *sighs* but havent had the guts to say it. Sasha: Whats wrong? SASHA grabs KEVINS hand in a comforting manner KEVIN takes in a deep inhale then exhale KEVIN: Im going to going on an expedition to travel the world and I was hoping. SAHSA gasp for air and grabs her mouth SASHA: And you were hoping I could come!! Yh il love to come KEVINS face drops dramatically SASHA: Imagine us together, EVERYWHERE. I got a few places I want to go already. KEVINS smiles sarcastically and looks at SASHA. SASHA giggles and KEVIN does it back. KEVIN picks up a class from the table and takes a big gulp out of his drink. He then puts it back and slums back into the sofa. SASHA hugs him and they both sit back into the couch VoiceOver: Well that flopped, ahhh I cant stay with her. SASHA: So whats the plan for tomorrow, what time we going out? A menacing smile grows on KEVINS face KEVIN: Any time after my doctors appointment. SASHA: Doctors appointment? Why you got an appointment? KEVIN: Ahhhhh its kind of embarrassing. They both sit up straight on the sofa.

KEVIN: Ive got a bowel problem (slurs speech) SASHA: What? I couldnt hear you. KEVIN: A BOWEL PROBLEM SAHSA: What you mean a bowel problem? Whats wrong with *coughs* your bowels? KEVIN gets himself comfortable KEVIN: Well, ermmmmm when I go toilet I have a problem controlling what comes out and when it does come out its a disaster. SASHA: Eshhhhhhhhh SASHA grabs KEVINS shoulder SASHA: *TUTTS* Nobody is perfect SASHA then leans back in the sofa and lets one go, SASHA burst out in laughter rolling around in the sofa. KEVIN pinches his nose and starts coughing uncontrollably. He forces out a chuckle in all the chaos KEVIN: AHAHA and thats youre my girlfriend SAHSA: HAHA you love it KEVIN: Yes love that (sarcastically) KEVIN then stands up and picks up both glasses KEVIN: Let me get us a refill yh SASHA wipes her tears of laughter SASHA: Okay KEVIN proceeds to walk to the kitchen, when he reaches he places the cups down and bends his head over the sink. He turns the tap on and damps his hands to wipe his face. He then turns around and hops on to the kitchen surface. VoiceOver: MAN, she just doesnt get what Im saying. When I try to keep a girl she dont want to stay now I finally have a chance where I want to leave but NOPE, I cant get rid of her!! Bowel problems!! What was I thinking?? *sigh* Maybe I should just stay with her; she isnt that annoying actually yes she is that annoying. Im just going to have to come clean to do it the normal way. Wait what if she starts crying, what do I say? Do i SASHA: Kev just you alright?? KEVIN hops off the counter

KEVIN: Yhh, be with you in a second KEVIN then opens the fridge and grabs the bottle; he then fills up both glasses. KEVIN: Come on boy, you can do it. Man up and be smooth KEVIN picks up both glasses from the counter and makes his way into the living room KEVIN: Here I am They both smile at each other; KEVIN places both glasses on the table and sits down on the sofa. He then picks up both of SASHA hands KEVIN: Sash I dont think were working out together SASHA: Huh, why? KEVIN: I just dont see us progressing to the next stage; it was fun while it lasted but the spark has gone. Im sorry. KEVIN looks towards the floor VoiceOver: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SASHA: Yh your right, who was I kidding. KEVINS head shoots up KEVIN: Huh, I mean yh you feel the same way? SASHA: Yh I could tell its dying out thought we could just go with the flow because it might get better but theres no point. KEVIN: Yhhh Im pleased you understand SASHA: Well I better get going then KEVIN: Alright then They both stand up and head towards the front door. KEVIN leads the way and opens the door. SASHA steps out the front door and turns around. KEVIN: Hope this doesnt ruin things, we used to be good friends and I hope we can stay like that. SASHA: yhyh defo, no tough feelings. Oo yhyh I almost forgot what I wanted to say earlier KEVIN: Go for it

SASHA: I would like to invite you round mine on the weekend; Im having a get together with close family and friends. KEVIN: yhyh il come, whats we celebrating? SASHA starts laughing; KEVIN looks around with a puzzled look. KEVIN:*Chuckles* whats so funny? SASHA: *Singing* I won the lottery; Ive got 5 million pounds VoiceOver: God why, why, why, why, why KEVIN: Ahhhh Im so happy for you. SASHA jumps on KEVIN and gives him a big hug KEVINS frowns upon SASHA shoulder, just before they pull apart KEVIN changes his face back to normal. SASHA: I best be going now, see you on the weekend, and bet you wish you never broke up with me now init They both start laughing VoiceOver: You cant even imagine. SAHSHA: Anyways im off, bye KEVIN: Bye SASHA walks off; KEVIN stands there for a second and composes his breath. He takes a deep breath in and out. He slowly closes the front door and drags himself to the bathroom and closes the door KEVIN: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
