to those of you who are able to drive! Bring the children for our normal start time of 8:15 AM. We will be leaving the school by approximately 8:40 AM. We plan to return by 11:45 AM or noon. Watch your email youre your childs folder this week for additional field trip details. All aboard for the Sonshine Station that will be chugging along this Saturday, October 6 from 10 AM-12PM! We hope youre along for the ride!

moving on to our next fffffabulous letter with Francy fish! Well be working with our fingers, our feet, and we may even go fishing as we explore the letter f. We will discuss the difference between fantasy and reality too.

Other Classroom News


This week we will jump ahead about 400 years to The Birth of Moses. Moses will be all grown up by Thursday as we learn about God calling him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt after the miraculous display of His power in the Ten Plagues. These stories remind us of how amazingly God protects and directs His people in the way they should go. In math we will continue working graphing and begin discussing patterning. Thank you for bringing your child to sing in church yesterday. Its always such a pleasure to hear little ones praise the Lord! If your child was not able to attend please be sure to send a written excuse by Tuesday. Thank you!

Mark your calendars and call the grandparents! On Friday, October 19, at 7 PM, the Jr. K and kindergarten classes will be performing a musical version of The Three Billy Goats Gruff as the opening act for the 1st 3rd grade Fall Musical. We plan to work on simple costumes at school and will inform you of your childs part soon. On Sunday, October 28, starting at 2 PM we welcome you to the Little Germany we will be recreating on campus. Come to the Reformation Fest and learn about how God used Martin Luther to refocus people on the wonderful truth that we are saved by Gods grace alone.
