Configuring Oracle Applications Post Install. Rapid Install Will configure all the servers during install automatically.

Login to the host Set the environment cd <your_appl_top_directory> $ . APPSORA.env/APPSSID.env ================================================================================ =================================Test the Web Listener Virtual Directories TEST THE WEB LISTENER VIRTUAL DIRECTORIES 1. Locate Apache configuration file directory. cd $ORACLE_HOME/../iAS/Apache/Apache/conf 2. View the apps.conf file. This will contain all Oracle Applications specific configurations for the standa rd Apache Listener. 3. Set or verify virtual directory mappings. The following table lists the virtu aldirectories and examples for the physical directories.

You can use the Application Object Library AOL/J Setup Test Suite to verify that virtual directories are set properly. Application Object Library AOL/J Setup Test Suite http://<host_name>:<port_number>/OA_HTML/jsp/fnd/aoljtest.jsp When you access the test suite, you will be asked to provide login information f or your instance: Applications Schema Name Applications Schema Password TWO_TASK Host Name Port Number

2. Navigate to "Gateway Database Access Descriptor Settings" and create or edit a Database Access Descriptor.
