The Center for University Industry Collaboration at Anna University Chennai organizes a one day program on "Mind Without Fear" on August 25th 2012 in collaboration with A.V.C College of Engineering. The program aims to provide guidance and counseling to teaching faculty through mentorship development workshops led by Dr. S. Selvam and other experts from CUIC, Anna University. A.V.C College of Engineering is located 4 km from Mayiladuthurai on the main highway and will provide transportation for participants from nearby cities and towns.

About CUIC The Centre for University Industry Collaboration, Anna University Chennai was established in the year

1991 with a primary focus on the following domains namely Campus Placement for Engineering / Management Students, Interaction between Institute and Industry, Faculty Empowerment Programmes, Training Programmes for students on core competency development and action research programmes in engineering and technology. We are Conducting programmes for the benefit of the Teaching Research Associates and Placement and Training Officers on Industrial Expectations. About The Institution Anbanathapuram Vahaira Charity (A.V.C) was established in 1806 by the five Philanthropic Families belonging to the five villages of Anbanathapuram. Enathimangalam, Pallavarayanpet, Karugudi and Kanganamputhur. The trust runs three educational institutions namely A.V.C. College (Autonomous), A.V.C. Polytechnic College and A.V.C. College of Engineering. A.V.C. College of Engineering was established in 1996. Our college is a distinctive institution and it ensures its graduates are competitive in meeting the present and changing needs of society, commerce and industry.
