Adjectives Lesson Plan

This document outlines a 2nd grade language arts lesson on adjectives. The lesson begins with an anticipatory activity to engage students in thinking about adjectives. The teacher will then model identifying adjectives and their purpose. Students practice generating descriptive adjectives for different senses. To check understanding, students draw and label their own "windowpanes" with adjectives to describe a piece of candy and then write a paragraph using those adjectives. Modifications for Spanish translation are noted.
