Amadeus Air provides airline schedules for more than 780 airlines and availability information for flights that have seats available for sale on more than 460 airlines. The Amadeus system stores over 500,000 city pairs and 3.9 million routings worldwide, offering you a wide range of direct flights and over 6 million connecting flight options.

AVAILABILITY DISPLAY

HE AN

The Amadeus Availability shows all flights with at least one seat available for sale or waitlist for all airlines, which have a sales agreement with Amadeus. Status codes are shown for each class of service regardless of whether seats are available. The system contains 500,000 city pairs and 6 million flight connections for flights up to a maximum of 361 days in the future and up to 3 days in the past. Flights in the past are shown in an availability display without an availability status. Each time, availability is displayed; the flights are sorted following the hierarchy below: Flight Type Non-stop Direct Connecting Change of Equipment/Gauge Definition A flight with no intermediate stops, and the same flight number and aircraft. A flight with intermediate stop (s), and the same flight number and aircraft. A flight with intermediate stop(s), and a change of flight number and aircraft. A connecting flight with intermediate stop(s), and the same flight number, but with a change of aircraft.

Full Amadeus Access Offers the highest level of connectivity with actual seat availability and immediate confirmation. This allows an airline to keep its availability displays in Amadeus synchronized with those of its own system. Schedule changes are immediate.

Amadeus Access Sell Offers a fully secured sale for each seat. When a request for a seat is made, Amadeus checks the flight in the airlines own inventory system. Amadeus Direct Access This functionality allows you to directly access an airlines reservation system. Last seat availability is guaranteed in an Amadeus Direct Access display (also called secondary display) because of a real-time link between Amadeus and the airline. The booking is sent to the airline at end transaction via a teletype message. After end transaction, the booking is assumed confirmed and cannot be rejected by the airline provided that: The booking class was available The sell was made within three minutes of accessing the direct access display Entering the Direct Access mode from the neutral availability display: ACL 4 Where: AC L4 availability change command Line identifier and Line number from the avail display

Standard Access Offers flight availability and schedules that are updated once a week by tape and are updated by standard AIRIMP messages. When a seat is booked, a teletype message is generated to the airline at end transaction. Upon end transaction, am HK status may still be rejected by the airline within 12 hours. Beyond this, if seats remain unchanged, they are assumed to be confirmed.
