Sheikh Sultan (R.A) was a student (murshid) of Sheikh Adam Banuri (R.A) S/O Sayed Ismail (d. 1661 AD). He was spiritual sufi during the tenure of Aurangzeb The Emperor. He was from a Sayed family. Sheikh Sultan (R.A) was born in early 1700 century and died in Late 1700 century. He was full of kashf-o-karamat during his life time. In every eara his family gets at least one genuine person who gets kashf-o-karamat (healing touch). His family has been settle down in Lakhminia. Shekh Sultan (R.A) migrated to Lakhminia to spread the Islam and sufi culture. Lakhminia is located under Ballia subdivision, Begusarai, Bihar, India.Lakhminia is also a railway station and name railway station is coined by Shekh Sultan (R.A) to remember a washerman lady Laxmi. Lakhminia remained an education centre and house of poets. Both, Sheikh Sulatan and Shah Alimullah(R.A) was disciple of Shekh Adam Banuri and both were strongly follower of Sunate Rasool. The Emperor Auranzeb had a dream that Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) died and after inspection he came to know that Shah Alimullah(R.A) died. He saw such a dream because Shah Alimullah (R.A) was whole heartedly loved to follow Sunate Rasool. Hazrat Ali Mian Nadwi said no one can say that who was the inferior to whom. Actually both, Shekh Sultan (R.A) and Shah Alimullah (R.A) was equally firm follower of Sunnate Rasool. His spiritual colleague Shah Alimullah (R.A) had settle down in Takia, Rai Barelly, Uttar Pradesh, India. One of his family member is globally known Islamic scholar and been awarded with best Muslim award of the world by Saudi Arabia Government.His name is maulan Ali Mian Nadwi s/o Dr.abdul hai (R.A). Alim Mian (R.A) had visited Lakhminia so many times and so his family members are attached with Lakhminia. Sheikh Adam Banuri (R.A) was a disciple of Mujaddid Alf Saani (R.A). The name Banuri originates from the Sheikh who migrated from Baghdad to settle in the Indian village of Banur to spread the message of Islam. Banur is a small town about 25 km from Chandigarh, the capital of Indian Punjab, on the Chandigarh-Patiala National Highway, NH 64. Sheikh Adam Banuri was Sayed on his father side and his mother was an Afghan. His family settled down in Banur, near Sirhind. He had written book entitled Kalimatul Ma arif, two of his other works, the Khulasatu Ma arif and the Nikatul Asrar, were among other wellknown works on Sufi teachings. Mujaddid Alf Saani (R.A) also known as Sheikh Ahmad Sirhindi (d. 1034/1624) was the most famous of Baqi Billahs disciples. He was an Indian Islamic scholar from Punjab, a Hanafi jurist, and a prominent member of the Naqshband Sufi order. He challenged so many time orders of Emperor Akbar and Emperor Shahjahan. Sirhindi was the pivotal figure who redefined Sufisms role in society. His grave is in Sirhind, near Ludhiana, Punjab, India.

Khwaja Baqi Billah (1563-1603) was a Sufi saint from Kabul. He was Ahmad Sirhindis spiritual mentor. Khawaja Baqi Billah was the originator and pioneer of the Naqshbandia Order in the sub-continent. His name was Razi-ud-Din Muhammad Baqi but he was commonly known as Khwaja Baqi Billah His father Qazi Abdul Salam Khilgi, Samarkandi Qureshi was a famous scholar and saint of Kabul. Saintliness was reflected from his face from his early childhood. He stressed on Sharia during the whole of his life and influenced the people by virtue of his piety and his strict adherence to the Sunnah. He preferred Sharia to Tariqah (Sufism) and reformed the Sufis and Ulama of that time. There is no tree to cast a shadow on the grave. In spite of this, the visitors do not feel the effect of heat when they stand barefooted beside the grave. His grave is located at Sadar, Nabi Kareem,Old Delhi, India.
