Geometry Help

The document provides an overview of basic geometry concepts. It begins by defining a line as a series of collinear points extending infinitely in both directions without endpoints. It then discusses the intersection of two lines forming four angles whose sum is 360 degrees. Parallel lines are defined as lines that do not intersect or pretend to meet at infinity. Line segments are parts of lines with fixed starting and ending points. Three or more line segments can join to form polygons, such as triangles. Triangles are classified based on side lengths as equilateral, isosceles, or scalene, and based on angle measures as acute, right, or obtuse. Online math tutors are available to provide geometry help for any difficulties understanding these concepts.

Geometry Help

Geometry Help Geometry Help can provide the support to understand the concepts of geometry. It provide us the support to learn the various concepts related to the study of geometry. We start with the line. A line is formed by joining the series of collinear point, which extends endlessly in both the directions and has no end point. It has no fixed length. Now let us look at the two lines, which meet each other at a fixed point. Now for this we need to draw two lines say l and m meeting at the point o. The point O is called the point of intersection of the two lines l and m. Now let us look at the lines l and m carefully at the point of intersection. Here the two lines form four angles. The sum of these four angles is 360 degrees. Here the pair of opposite angles at the point of intersection are called vertically opposite angles. The pair of vertically opposite angles is always equal. Now we will take another pair of lines which do not intersect at all. We call this pair of lines as the parallel lines. To define the parallel lines, we say that the pair of lines are parallel, if they do not intersect each other at all.

Sometimes we also define the lines as parallel, if they pretend to meet at infinite. Now let us look at the line segments. A line segment Is the part of the line, which has a fixed starting and the ending point. We say that the three or more line segments join together to form the closed figures called the polygons. A polygon formed by joining three line segments is called a triangle. A triangle is of different types. We classify the triangles based on the measure of their line segments and the measure of their angles. We say that the triangles are classified based on their sides as follows: 1. Equilateral triangle: A triangle which has all the sides of the same measure is called an equilateral triangle. Each angle of the equilateral triangle is of 60 degrees. 2. Isosceles triangle: A triangle which has two of its sides of the same measure are called isosceles triangle. 3. Scalene triangle: A triangle which has the measure of all the sides different is called scalene triangle. Based on the measure of the angles, we say that the triangles are of following types : 1. Acute angled triangle: A triangle which has at least one angle of the acute measure is called an acute angled triangle. 2. Right angled triangle: A triangle which has at least one angle of the measure of 90 degrees is called the right angled triangle.

3. Obtuse angled triangle: A triangle which has at least one angle of the measure more than 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees is called obtuse angled triangle.
