3. Population projection benchmark was based on the results of the 1995 Census of Population.
a 2005 average cannot be computed due to the adoption of the new unemployment definition starting April 2005 of the LFS, per
NSCB Resolution No. 15 dated October 20, 2004. The revision affects the composition of the labor force which is the base for the
computation of the employment rate. Hence, data for employment rate starting April 2005 onwards are not comparable with prior
survey rounds/averages.
