What is Counseling?
Counseling is a process by means of which the helper expresses care and concern towards the person with a problem, and facilitates that person's personal growth and brings about change through selfknowledge. A set of techniques, skills & attitudes to help people manage their own problems using their own resources.
Counseling helps people recognize internal conflict. With effective listening skills you can assist a person in communicating their thoughts and feelings. When you understand where a person is starting from, it is easier to help them reach their goal
