MEMORANDUM

TO: Argonaut Building Tenants

FROM: Mary Pellow, Property Manager

DATE: 01/03/08

SUBJECT: BOILER REPAIRS—Lobby Attendant

The boiler is currently shut down and will remain off until the repairs and maintenance
have been completed. The work is expected to finish by Wednesday, January 9, 2008. The
building will be colder than usual and we suggest the following to help offset the cold:

• Keep your blinds drawn as much heat is lost by radiation especially through
windows.
• Dress warmly with layers and sweaters.
• Bring a thermos of a hot beverage or soup
• Turn on all lights in your premises

Please use the space heaters that have been provided sparingly to avoid overloading any
circuits inside your premises.

I want to welcome Aaron Woodward to the Argonaut Building. Aaron has extensive
experience with ProTech in buildings in San Francisco and we are lucky to have him.
Please help him by introducing yourself and your employees.

The entry policy of the Argonaut Building is to have all visitors sign in at the lobby desk.
We appreciate your cooperation and support by informing your customer, clients, vendors
and visitors of our policy.

Aaron will be on vacation next week beginning, January 7, 2008-January 11, 2007, and
return on January 14, 2008.
