Fea QP CT3

This document is an exam for a Finite Element Analysis course taken by a mechanical engineering student. It contains instructions for a two part exam with multiple choice and long answer questions. Part A contains 5 short answer questions testing fundamental finite element concepts. Part B contains two long answer questions asking the student to determine natural frequencies and mode shapes for beams, calculate stiffness matrices, and perform other finite element calculations and analyses. It provides the student with all relevant material properties and model dimensions needed to complete the problems.
