Android Development Basics Syllabus

Course Description
This course covers the introduction to the Android Development course. This course will help the participant prepare to develop basic mobile applications using the Android SDK. The course is designed for those who will take part in designing, creating, and testing applications for the Android mobile phone platform.

Pre-requisites The trainees must meet the following pre-requisites:


Must have a working knowledge in any programming language

Course Objectives
By the completion of this course, the trainees are expected to: Install necessary software that will help in creating Android applications. Create different GUI layouts and themes. Accommodate events and handle data in different ways. Develop working programs using the Intents and Events of the Android SDK. Run applications on the Android Virtual Device or Emulator.

Lecture & Workshop : 10 days (3 hours/day) - Schedule: Weekdays, 5:00 pm-8:00 pm
