Ec1304control Systems

This document outlines the objectives and content of a control systems course. The objectives are to familiarize students with concepts related to analyzing and stabilizing control systems in both the time and frequency domains. The course content covers modeling control systems, time domain analysis using concepts like stability and error coefficients, frequency domain analysis using tools like Bode plots and Nyquist stability criterion, compensator design using techniques like feedback, and applications of control systems in industry. The course is divided into 5 units that progressively cover these topics over 15 weeks using two specified textbooks.
