The Legend of Korra

The Legend of Korra is an American television series and a spin-off of Avatar: The Last Airbender set in the same Avatar universe. The series follows Korra, a new Avatar from the Southern Water Tribe who has already mastered water, earth, and fire but must learn airbending. It is set 70 years after Avatar: The Last Airbender and will focus on Korra facing an anti-bending revolt while training with Tenzin, the son of Aang and Katara. The series premiered in 2012 on Nickelodeon and was created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, who will write all episodes.

The Legend of Korra

The Legend of Korra is an American television series set in theAvatar universe as a spin-off of Avatar: The Last Airbender. The premiere aired on Nickelodeon on April 14, 2012; however, the first two episodes premiered online on March 2425, 2012[6] and were available in highdefinition for free of charge on iTunes. The series is currently under production and is expected to run for two seasons and a total of twenty-six episodes,[5] with options for more.[7] The co-creators of the original series, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, will personally write all of the episodes to allow for a tighter storyline. The new series will take place seventy years after the end of theAvatar: The Last Airbender story arc with new characters and settings.[5] The protagonist of the new series, Korra, the Avatar afterAang, is a hotheaded and rebellious young woman from theSouthern Water Tribe who is "ready to take on the world".[8] The series will follow Korra as she faces an anti-bender revolt while mastering the art of airbending from Aang and Katara's son, Tenzin.
