Electronic Control Programmable to Optimize Refrigeration System Performance Lower Vibration Compatible with other System Improvements Advanced Technology Appeal Adaptable to Multiple Electrical Connections
The Variable Capacity Compressor technology (VCC ) offered by Embraco operates by continuously varying the cooling capacity over a range of 3:1, using state of the art electronically driven motors together with a reciprocating mechanism. By running continuously and modulating its capacity, it can achieve optimal compressor and heat exchanger pressures which eliminate or minimize the need to stop and restart. This represents a breakthrough in energy saving for any current refrigeration system, and is only possible with this technology.
Up to 40% reduction in overall energy consumption and 5 dB(A) average noise level reduction were measured with the VCC as compared to a conventional on-off compressor. The VCC also ensures better food conservation and quick freezing features. A flexible software control, makes it compatible with the electronic thermostats of all existing customers.
